Tri-na-n-Og!
Tri-na-n-Og!
("Country of the Young")
This is a country where neither age nor death can be found, and neither tears nor
loud laughter have gone near. The shadiest boskage covers it perpetually. Only
the bard Olsin has gone to the island and returned again, and since his death,
many have seen is in the depts. of lakes, and heard the sound of bells coming
from it; more often it has been seen it off on the horizon, as they've peered out
from the western cliffs. But it only appears to announce some national
trouble.
It is the favorite dwelling place of the fairies, and some say it exists as a
triple purpose: the island of the living, the island of victories, and an
underwater land.
