We, of course, had to wait until after school to go down because our parents wouldn't let us skip school (grrrr!). The day seemed to go by sooooo slowly but finally school ended and we went to catch the bus that picked us up at three. We were to take the bus to the Train station and then the Train to Union Station. So anyway the whole bus ride was great we made every light (which was good since we didn't have much time to get to the Train). On the bus we were both talking a mile a minute and we wre laughing a lot about nothing, I also remember my hands being VERY cold. Then we finally got to the train station and boarded the Train. Just like the bus ride we were talking a mile a minute on the train as well, we also took that time to brush our hair and put together all the letters people from school had given us to give to the boys. When we were done that we just sat and talked and laughed (a lot) there was also this damn fly that kept buzzing around that I swear was trying to attack me. We got to the train station and waited out side of Laura Secord for my mom who was going to take us down to the building since we didn't know how to get there. We left the station and then walked down about a million streets (okay maybe there were only three streets) and finally got to the building.
When we arrived outside of the building, I was sooooo excited!!! I couldn't believe that I was actually down there to see the boys. We went over to one of the windows (the same one the boys preformed at During I&I in January) and looked inside the building. I was trying to get rid of my mom but she didn't take the hint, until after she embarrassed me! One of the Muchmusic VJs; (Master .T. to be exact) was walking by and a bunch of people were yelling....
"Master .T., Master T can I have you autograph?"
and then my mom goes...
"Who's Master T?" ...
....right when he walked by us. Well that was it, I was so embarrassed I had to ask her to leave. We agreed to meet back with her at 9pm so we could catch the train back home. Then Lisa and I began to look for the boys.
The first hour was pretty boring, all we did was stand outside a window and push through the crowd (which wasn't very big) to try to get closer to the opened window. Then we started to see people carrying barriers to the other side of the building so we decided to follow them. The time then was 6:45pm and we know the pre-show started at 7:00pm which meant that guest (including the boys) would be arriving soon. When we followed the people with the barriers they led us to two signs one said "GUEST CHECK-IN" and the other said "MEDIA CHECK-IN" they were on either side of a big door. We both started getting really excited because we knew that we had found the place were the music groups were going to enter the building. We wanted to be sure so we asked on of the body gaurds...
"Excuse me" I said "Is this were the Backstreet Boys are going to be coming in?"...
Then the body guard looked at me and kinda half smiled and said....
"duh, ( he was really dumb) I'm not sure"...
...and I said "Yeah right your lying" which made Lisa laugh and then the body guard said....
"sometimes the groups just use the back door instead to avoid a big crowd"...
but I knew that he was just trying to get rid of us and so we left him alone. STUPID BASTARD OF A BODY GAURD!!!! (as you can tell I didn't like him very much) So we decided to ask another body gaurd if he knew and according to Lisa he was the nicest most sweetest most cutest body gaurd (heehehee... lol) He told us that yeah that was were the stars would be coming in but was couldn't stand there because we'd get in the way but he suggested we stand across the street. He didn't have to tell us twice, we practically skipped across the street we were so happy.
We waited across the street for about a 15 minutes and then we saw BIG WRECK entering the building. Lisa and I started to freak because that was when we finally realized that we were in the right place. We noticed that BIG WRECK had came out of this big bus (lol) so Lisa stayed at the side of the road while I walked down the street a bit to see if I could get a glimps inside the big bus, unfortunitly I couldn't so I went back and stood with Lisa. At this point I was getting really excited, every person I saw I though was some one famous. Then the Limos started to arrive. By then a group of about 10 girls came and stood with us. A grey Limoe pulled up infront of us and we all braced our selves to see who would come out of it, DAMN it was no one important just some people who took a limo to the awards, we were so pissed. Anyway about 2minutes after the grey limo incident we saw another limo this time it was black ans no one was coming out of it. We all just sort of looked at it for a little while and slowly started to walk towards it. Then all of a sudden some one yelled....
"OHMYGOD IT'S AJ'S MOM!!!
That did it all of us started running down the street towards them and then some one stopped us outside this brown building so we couldn't get too close to them. AH HA But I was too smart I simply walked around the person who stopped us and stood right infront of the wall so that to get into the building they all had to walk past ME first, and that they did. First AJ's Mom walked past me, I was way too shocked to do anything. Then AJ came and I put my hand out to him and.......... HE GRABBED IT!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???????? I GOT TO TOUCH AJ MCLEAN!!!!!!!! I was so happy at that point taht I didn't care that the next two people to walk by were two girls dressed kinda sluty (1T or 2) I later found out that one of them was AJ's gf). The last person who walked by was Howie, the only bad thing was that I was still in shock about shakingg AJ's hand that I didn't even notice it was Howie until it was too late to shake his hand(I;m still mad at myself for that!
When AJ Passed Lisa she handed him the letters that all our friends have given us. He grabbed them and then gave them back and said.....
"I'm coming back out, I'm coming back out, I'll get 'em then"
We were so freaked out I started jumping up and down. We watched AJ and Howie get in the elevator of the building, but that's not all we saw. Some lady (who was a little psycho I must add) ran into the building after then, pryed open the elevator door and said....
"AJ, my daughter loves you, please stay outside"
AJ looked really scared but agreed to come out! Now there was only one thing to do.... WAIT!
We all (about 14 of us) waited outside the building for about 45 minutes. Everytime the elevator started to come down, we'd all hold our breathe hoping that the doors would open and the two BSB would be standing there. We must of looked pretty funny because the body gaurd guy who was in the building kept laughing eveytime we groaned when we realized that it wasn't them in the elevator. It was getting kinda cold outside but we didn't care. While we were waiting for them, We got to meet THE RASCALS and Lisa got a member of THREE DEEP'S autograph, it was cool. Tnen Lisa sorta taped me on the shoulder and said.....
"Jen, look the elevator is going down to the parking lot"
sure enough the elevator had stopped at "P2" We didn't think much of it though because we didn't want to miss anything if AJ and Howie finally did come out. So we decided to stay outside the building with everyong else instead of going around the side. About three minutes later some one yelled..
"Look there goes Mrs Mclean"
Sure enough a little short red headed woman was running across the street. We all screamed and ran after her. The I saw a bunch of big men surrounding two other guys and I realized it was AJ and Howie. So we started running after them instead. The bodygaurds wouldn't let us anywhere near them but I ran up and puched my way through some camera people and managed to get Howie to look at me but that was about it. The guys made it into the building without us getting the letters to them or without an autograph. It turned out the boys had been in the elevator that read "P2" so if we would have went ot check it out we might have met them again.
We didn't really know what to do after that so we went back to the front of The Muchmusic building because the show was about to start. We ended up talking to Juliet, and then getting on TV, which was sorta embarassing because i looked really dumb. Anyway we noticed the time and we had to leave because we had school the next day. So we asked this girl who was staying longer if she would give the letters to the guys. She said yes but she was kinda hyper and she had something in her eye so I don't think she knew what I was asking her.
We caught our train and went home. We were really excitted though because we had seen...

It was an awesome day!!!!!!!!! Oh and if anyone happens to watch the Hitlist, you know the four part interview with AJ and Howie? Well that was inside the building we were waiting outside of.
