WINSTON-SALEM.....EXCESSED

As I write this edition of my perspective, the excessing of Winston-Salem has come and gone. The once very productive operation, that we all who worked here knew, has ceisted to exist. Gone are all the machines that we used to process and deliver mail on time every day to all of our valued and important customers. Gone is the pride in knowing that the employees did an excellant job in getting the mail to our customers. Gone is the family of employees that took pride in doing their job. Gone, are the employees.

It is a sad thing that has happened in the guise of progress.

It is sad that so many lives have been affected by the guise of progress.

It, is sad.
