The Father came That Day

Snow covered the ground,
tinted with the color of red.
Oh this hard cold place,
where childern lay dead.

Flowers of many colors,
now along this path line.
A memorial of fifteen lives,
taken to early in years time.

Sisters, brothers, sons, and daughters;
father, husband, hero, and teacher of others.
To soon gone to their heavenly home.
The Father came that day to take them home.
