Sadistic Intent one of the true Dark metal bands out there today hailing from the U.S,Formed in 1987 after the 2 elite Death metal bands in the Los Angeles area joined allegance.In 1988 they came out with their first rehearsal tape entitled "Morbid Faith",and in early 89' they produced their first demo "Conflict Within",This set them as an icon in the underground metal scene in the area and they began support touring for bands such as Death,Destruction, and Dark Angel.After the Touring,Sadistic Intent settled down at a small studio called Wild Rags Records and produced the now legendary and out of print EP "Impending Doom".This sent a shockwave threw the death metal world and Sadistic Intent started headline touring with Morbid Angel,they also did a completly sold out tour in Mexico.Upon returning Sadistic Intent created a self-released promotional 7" EP called "A Calm Before the Storm";never supposed to see the light of day this release would proove to be the last release of the original line-up.Parting ways with the orignal vocalist, and also drummer Joel Marquez(who had to leave the country due to personal problems) the band hit a lull of depression and mourning.Lasting for about a year until the return of Marquez sparked them into creating the infamous mcd "Resurrection" in 1993 with Bay Cortez now on vocals/bass.The resurrection of Sadistic Intent seemed fully complete until Joel marquez had to depart the band again for the last time.This time they found a quick replacement drummer by the name of Emilio Marquez(no relation).They did another successful tour in America and again in Mexico and upon arriving back in L.A. did "Return to the Eve" for the Celtic Frost tribute Compilation.In prelude to their upcoming full-length cd("The Second Coming...")they released the Limited Edition "Ancient Black Earth" containing 3 songs off the upcoming album.
