  The Self proclaimed "battle metal" band, Darkmoon, arose from the ashes of Charlotte,NC in a frenzy of hate festering mayhem after the demise of Demonic Christ in 1997.In there short existence they have already made a name for themselves in the black metal scene as one of the rising bands to be fueled by their christian hate.Playing the 12th annual Milwaukee Metalfest with established bands in the scene suchs as Emperor, Mayhem, and Impaled Nazarene, Darkmoon proved to themselves and to the masses gathered there that they are a true dark force to be reckoned with.
