"I'm fine mom, really." Justin took the glass of water from his mom and set it on the night stand next to his bed.
"Well, just call if you need anything." Mrs. Harless made her way out the door and shut it quietly behind her.
Justin sighed heavily and leaned back against the freshly fluffed pillow. His whole day home has been full of concerned comments that he wish would stop. Why, all of sudden, are people NOW concerned about me? Justin closed his eyes and let his body fall into the exaustion that had consumed him for the past few weeks.
"Do you think he's dead?"
"Oh, shut up Chris. He's not dead."
"Are you sure, I mean look at him...He's not moving."
Justin could hear the voices thretening to pull him from his sleep. "He's not dead Chris. Jeez...."
"Are you sure? I think I should check..." "Chris..." JC warned.
"So help me god, Chris, if you even think about touching me..." Justin muttered as he opened one eye and glared in Chris' direction.
"He's ALIVE!" Chris cried dramaticly.
JC just sighed and rolled his eyes. "Why'd you wake me up?"
"Your mom wanted to know if you were hungry. They'res some food left downstairs."
"Even after Joey ate!" Chris added.
JC sighed once again. "Dont mind him...he had some sugar." "Oh...I see. I dont think my stomach's up to it. I'm kinda woozy." Liar. Your starving...go eat something.
"Are you sure. You havent eaten in a while, Justin. Maybe you should try and keep something down." JC suggested.
"Well--"
"Well nothing!" Chris waved his hand in the air, "Look at yourself, your wasting away! You need food. I'll be right back." Chris quickly scurried out of the room in search of food. "C'mon JC!"
"Physco calls..." JC said with a small laugh and left the room.
Justin's eyes widened at what had just happened. Uh-oh.. Justin quickly lifted himself from his bed and hurried across the hall to the bathroom. He immediatly opened the medicine cabinet above the sink, searching past the calogne and toothpaste, finding what he needed.
Justin grabbed the bottle of laxatives and quickly dumped two of the small pills in his hand. If I have to eat, it doesnt mean it has to stay in me. Justin popped the pills in his mouth, turned on the water and took a mouthfull of water, gulping down the pills.
"Justin?"
Justin could see JC as he entered his room with a large trey of food in his hands.
"I'm here."
"Oh...Well, Here ya go." JC handed the trey to Justin. "Chris and I are going to run to the store for some stuff for your mom. Do you need anything?"
Justin shook his head, "No, I'm fine."
"Okay, We'll be back in a few. Just try and eat something, 'kay?"
Justin nodded. "Yeah." JC walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. Justin set the trey down, and walked to the door. When he heard the front door shut, Justin took the trey and made his way back to the bathroom.
Opening the toilet seat cover, Justin dumped the food in the toilet and flushed it quickly. Justin grabbed the empty trey and walked back to his room. He set the trey down on his nightstand and climbed back into his bed. Justin pulled the blankets up to his body, and clutched them tight, afraid of what was to come.
