My name is Laura . I am a 45 year old Registered Nurse ,mother of 2 boys and now 2 grandchildren, and currently taking a break from nursing. I am from eastern North Carolina and a frequent chatter using a program called mIRC and can be found on the undernet of IRC. I go by the nick FlynRN or SassyMe. Most of the time you can find me on the undernet as SassyMe. All my nutty friends hang out there also. Not all of us that hang out in there are nurses but we all have a good sense of humor. More about me.... I have been a nurse for 15 years now and I really love it. Right now I am a travel nurse and have met some wonderful friends. Asheville,NC was my first travel asignment and I will miss the friends I made there. I would like to thank everyone there especially Amanda Banks, Frank Luther and Lisa-Marie Quinlin,RN(and many others) for the loving friendship they showed me while I was there. Nursing is challenging. Name it and I probably have a certification for it. Most of my nursing experience has been in the ER though I started out in ICU/CCU . Those are my first loves besides my children. My kids keep me in line. Walt,who is 23, is the level headed side of me. Josh,who is 20, is the wild side of me. My grandkids keep me busy and on my toes. They put up with me for some reason and I love them with all my heart and more. I would like to dedicate this to my grandfather,Guion Elvis Lee Sr who passed away in November 2000 and to my uncle, Guion Elvis Lee,Jr, who fought a battle against a brain tumor and passed away April 2001. I miss them both dearly and will always cherish my memories of them. They both were driving forces in my life and I want to continue to make them both very proud of me and my accomplishments in life.

I would like to also dedicate this to my husband, William "David" Peterson,Jr, who passed away on Jan.12,2004. He was not only my husband but he was also my best friend, my confidant, my lover and my soul mate. I never knew what it was like to love or to be loved until I met him. I will miss you David. Thank you for the 6 years we had together and I will always cherish those memories as long as I live. Until we meet up again in heaven, I will never forget you or stop loving you.
