(1) Go to God in prayer daily. John 15:7 Now that you've asked Christ Jesus to come into your life you need to have a daily walking talking relationship with him. Christ Jesus is right there with you as you opened the door of your heart for him to come in.

(2) You need to read in God's word daily. (Acts 17:11). I suggest you begin with the Gospel of John. Get yourself a living or new international bible so that you can easily read and understand the content.

(3) Obey God moment by moment. (John 14:21) Take everything to God in prayer. Seek his will for your life.

(4) Witness for Christ by your life and words(Matthew 4:19, John 15:8)

(5) Trust God for every detail of your life and how you should speak. 1 Peter 5:7

(6) Holy Spirit -- allow Him to control and empower your daily life and witness (Galatians 5:16,17; Acts 1:8)

(7) Lastly you need to fellowship with a body of believers. It's very important that you attend a church where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached. Suggested body of believers to check out are your local Baptist, Assembly of God, Full Gospel, non denominational body of believers. If your city is as large as mine is then you can also contact the 700 club. Just look in the yellow pages or call information. REMEMBER, every day activities will test your faith in Jesus Christ now that you are saved. The devil is everywhere and in everything, you have to be strong and keep your faith in God. God has promised more than this world can ever give in a milion years. Nothing in this world is anymore important than Christianity.
