“So what was wrong before? you ok hun?” she asked concerned about her best friend
“yeah...” Amanda took a sip of water, then taking a breath “I told him”
“you told him...what??”
“about my family” she whispered
“You What??” Kim’s whisper became louder as everyone turned to the two of them. Everyone then started back in their side conversations.
“shhh, yeah I told him”
“Amanda, I can’t believe this, it took you so long to tell some of your closest friends”
“I know, but Kim, I cant explain it, I feel like I can tell him anything, and he’ll be alright with it, I feel....I feel..I dunno” she sighed
“like your in love?” Amanda looked at Kim, wanting so badly not to hurt her best friend in the world, especially on her birthday “I dunno, I’ve never felt like this before” she replied
“Amanda....”Kim paused “No matter what, I’m always going to be here for you, you should know that, and if you are in love...then...then I’ll be happy for you and Nick” Amanda was relieved by what her friend just said
“you sure?” Amanda asked
