“who is it?” She asked still crying, for 2 days straight she did nothing but cry. Who ever was at the door stuck a teddy bear in the crack of the door that was opened.
“can I come in?” asked a cute voice. It was Brian
“Brian?, yeah sure” As Brian walked in there was no one else with him, which Amanda was kinda relieved about, she didn’t really want to deal with everyone right now
“hey hun, how you doing?” Brian asked putting a bouquet of flowers in a vase then placing the teddy bear on her bed, leaning in to give her a kiss on the cheek. Brian and Amanda shared a special relationship, them two were really close, especially since Brian and Nick were best friends, Amanda felt like she could tell Brian anything.
“I guess ok, I start physical therapy today so..”
“listen I know you probably don’t want to talk about this, but I feel we should”
“ok?”
“listen Nick is really depressed, he just sits in the lounge room and dosen’t talk to anyone, he hasn’t eaten, he dosen’t talk, dosen’t even crack a smile.”
“is he ok?”
“I really don’t think so, I know you have a lot on your shoulders but please consider this...talk to him, I know you still love him, and he loves you more then ever, and he just wants to be there for you, he’s only trying to help, and besides you never even got to hear who that girl rachel was”
“I don’t want to know”
“oh trust me, yes you do”
“who is she?”
“let him tell you, can I tell him to come in?”
“yeah please, thanks Brian” Amanda said with a smile
“no problem, get better ok? I’ll check up on you, and if you want I’ll come to one of your physical therapy sessions cuz trust me, I know how it is”
“yeah thanks so much!”Amanda said as Brian opened the door and had Nick come in. Brian shut the door behind him so Nick and Amanda could have a little time to themselves
“how you doing?” Nick asked
“come here” Amanda said motioning for him to come sit on the bed. He did, as he sat down Amanda sat up and kissed him, tears came down her face “Nick I am so sorry, I didn't mean to turn away from you the other day, I was just so annoyed at myself, and oh god your the only person I have, I love you so much, and I would never want to hurt you!” she said kissing him again
“sweetie it’s ok, I understand”
“no it’s not ok, Nick promise you wont leave me” she said holding his hand “cuz I’m more scared then ever”. Nick looked into her eyes
“no good byes remember?”
“right” Amanda said smiling. “ilsten I have physical therapy today in like 10 mintues, can you come with me?”
“I’d love to” Nick said getting her up so she could change. It was so hard on both of them, Nick had to hold her up and help her change since she did paralyze her left leg. Amanda showed Nick the wheel chair but Nick refused. Nick carried her down the hall, down the stairs, and straight to the physical therapy room.
