“yes” he said holding out his hand to shake it.
“I’m Dr. Lewis” he said taking Nick over to the corner
“Dr. Lewis is Amanda ok?”
“as of right now, shes ok, she had alochol poisining, her left leg is broken and possibly paralyzed, she is not allowed to have any visitors right now, she is in stable condition, later tonight we will allow you and the rest of your friends to go in there, is there any family we can contact?”
“we are her family” Nick said looking into Amanda’s room, as he started to cry. She was hooked up to all different machines, one being a machine that breathed for her. He held onto the doctors arm for support to keep him up
“sorry “ Nick said
“its ok, if you want we can get you all some rooms so you can sleep” the doctor offered
“thats alright, thanks” he said shaking his hand
“if you need anything just tell the people at the front desk and they will get me”
“thanks again Dr. Lewis” Nick said as he walked back to the group. Kim ran up to him and hugged him
“Nick please tell me shes ok, please” He looked at her, then looking at all his friends, who all had tears coming down their faces.
“as of right now, shes ok” a sigh of relief came from the group “she might have paralyzed her left leg, she can’t breath on her own, and shes very badly cut” Kim fell into Nick’s arms crying. He sat her down.
“listen, Nick, we’re staying here with you ok?” Howie said patting him on the back
“thanks guys” Nick said as he sat down “thanks” everyone was pretty silent, it was about 2 inthe morning. All you could hear was the sound of Kim and Nick crying.
“Mr. Carter?” a nurse came up
“yes” Nick stood up
“you and your friends can go in and see her, but pelase not too long”
“thank you” he said as him and his friends made their way into Amanda’s room.
