“Listen Amanda....”he started “I’m leaving tomorrow, and it’s really hard, cuz I mean, I’m never really home, and I know its not fair to either of us and all...” tears started to build in Amanda’s eyes, she definetly wasnt expecting him to dump her, a tear fell down her cheek “sweetie please dont...let me finish” Amanda wiped away the tears.
“go ahead, sorry”Amanda said. Kevin and Jessica were watching them at this point, and when they saw Amanda crying they knew that Nick was going to brake her heart. The two of them truned away to give them privacy as Jessica held Kevin closer.
“it’s ok...”he took a breath “listen, I wanted to tell you, well...I don’t know how you feel about me....but I mean I really like you” he started tossing his hair back and forth, which he does when he gets nervous. Amanda could tell he was nervous, she was too. “and i wanted to ask if it would be alright if we” Amanda tried to brace herself, she could feel the words coming out of Nick’s mouth “I wanted to know it we could still stay together, I mean I know it’s going to be hard, but I can send you tickets, backstage passes, I’ll write you a letter every single day” Nick said fast. Amanda kissed him. She was so happy, she thought she was going to get her heart broken. Nick looked into her eyes. “I’m going to take that as a yes?!”
“you better, Nick, I am so relieved you asked me, I thought you were going to brake my heart”
“Amanda, I would never” He said kissing her lips softley. A few mintues later, everyone started coming back to the table, since it was 2 in the morning. Jessica and Kevin just watched Nick and Amanda. As they all headed out towards their cars, Nick has his arms wrapped around Amanda’s waist.
“I thought he..” Jessica said
“I thought so too” Kevin interrupted more confused than ever. The two of them quickly caught up to Amanda and Nick, Jessica next to Amanda and Kevin next to Nick
“hey I though you broke up with her?” Kevin whsipered to Nick
“hey I thought he broke up with you” Jessica whispered to Amanda
“nope” Nick replied
“no” Amanda replied
“I thought you said you were gonna follow your heart?” Kevin said to Nick
“I thoght he said he was gonna follow his heart” Jessica said to Amanda
“I did” Nick said
“He did” Amanda said
“Oh, thats great, I’m so happy for you two!” Kevin said
“Oh, thats great, I’m so happy for you!” Jessica replied
Amanda and Nick just looked at each other and smiled, Kevin then taking Jessica by her waist and pulled her closer to him.
They each went their seperate ways, Amanda and Nick in Amanda’s car (Nick driving once again), Jessica and Kevin in Kev’s car, AJ and Kim in AJ’s car, Brian and Kailin in Bri’s car, and Howie and Karen in Howie’s car. As Nick and Amanda were driving home something clicked in Amanda’s head,
“hey Nick do you know where your going?” Amanda asked watching her exit go by and AJ’s car turning to drop Kim off.
“yeah why?” Nick asked with a smerk
“well, hate to burst your bubble hun, but you just missed my exit”
“oh really? well...we’ll find a way to work things out”
“Nickolas Gene Carter, where are we going and what do you have planned?” Amanda said with a smile
“Amanda Elizabeth Pirolo, its a surprise” He said laughing, she leaned in and kissed him. “Now close your eyes we’re going to be there in a few minutes” Nick instructed her. She closed her eyes, trying to think of what Nick had planned for the two of them. She felt the car stop.
