"Kim, it was no problem at all, anything for you on your birthday! you’ve done so much for me, I mean you defiently deserve these tickets" Amanda replied as Kim ran over to her to give her a huge hug.
"well the concert starts in 4 hours...what are we gonna wear?" Kim asked excitedly
"I’ll just wear this" Amanda said, now Amanda wasn't so much of a huge Backstreet boys fan, but she liked their music, and when it was time to get her best friend Kim a birthday present to re-pay for everything Kim has ever done for her, Amanda knew these tickets would be a big help.
"that? no offence Amanda, but we gotta get something...something...just something...were gonna be sitting in front row!! we cant let them see us look like that" Kim said
" Kim the chances of them even seeing us are slim to nil"
"well you don’t know that, come on lets go to the mall" Kim asked with a puppy dog face that she knew Amanda always gave into
" oh alright lets go" Amanda said
They hopped into Amanda's white mustang convertible and were on there way, Kim blasting the new Backstreet boy cd the whole way there. Amanda could tell that her friend was really excited and she was happy that she was a part of it.
"you know this cd isn’t all that bad" Amanda said
"I’m telling you, they are awesome!!! your gonna love the concert"
"yeah well, we'll see about that one" Amanda said as she laughed, Kim just turned the cd up more and just sang.
*~*~Later at the mall~*~*
"Kim, you gotta get that, nick would die if he saw you in that"
"you really think so?" Kim asked while looking in the mirror, she knew she looked good, but just needed a second opinion.
"trust me, he would immediately fall in love" Amanda said with a smile, knowing Nick was Kim’s absolute favorite BSB
"ok, but what about you, Amanda, were running out of time here, you gotta get..." Kim said as she looked around the store for the perfect outfit for Amanda
"how about this? you would look so cute"
"yeah right, if I was like 5" she said as she laughed "ill just wear this black skort (a skirt and shorts) with ummm here this baby blue 3/4 shirt" she said pulling the clothes of the racks.
"not bad, you’d look great" Kim said
Amanda tried it on and they both liked how it looked, even though Amanda could really care less because she knew she wasn’t going to actually see the BSB and even if she did she wasn’t such a big fan so its not like she’s going to the concert to impress anyone, but what ever made her friend happy she would do. Amanda was a very loyal friend, especially to Kim, them two shared a very special friendship that they were close like sisters. Both Amanda and Kim were very attractive girls, but Amanda never thought of herself like that, Kim did though. Kim was one of the most popular girls in the school, Amanda was popular too, but not as popular as Kim.
~*~*Back at Kim’s House*~*~
" Kim come on were gonna miss the concert if we don’t get going" Amanda yelled upstairs to Kim who was still getting ready.
"ok ok, I’m coming" Kim yelled back, as she walked down the stairs Amanda was somewhat surprised at how perfect Kim wanted to look. she was going to a concert that she was going to be jumping around and knowing Kim yelling her head off, but still her make up was perfect, not one strand of hair out of place.
*thats Kim for ya* Amanda thought to herself.
"oh wait I forgot my poster upstairs, go start the car and ill be right there" Amanda just laughed and walked out the door. Finally Kim came outside with her poster in hand, a BSB book and a marker that they could sign just in case she was to see them.
"so what does your poster say?" Amanda asked curiously
"nick, its my b-day please take me backstage" Kim replied as Amanda laughed
"you really are pathetic you know?" Amanda said laughing her head off
"yes I know" Kim replied
"ok just as long as you know it"
And they were on their way to the concert. Once they got there the place was packed, little teeny-bopper girls running all over the place screaming with posters in their hands and decked out with BSB T-shirts, hats, buttons, you name it they had it. Amanda decided that maybe going to the back, that not a lot of people knew about, would be a better idea. Amanda's cousin worked here so Amanda knew her way around. Well there was no one in the back except for a....
"oh my god!!!!!!! thats..thats..thats..the BSB tour bus" Kim yelled
"ok calm yourself..breathe...breathe..are you sure?" Amanda said laughing at her friends reaction
"oh my god I am so sure!! I know it is I know it" just as Kim said that one of the BSB band members came walking out.
"Tommy!! Tommy!!" Kim yelled as she jumped out of the car.
Tommy just waved as Kim ran after him, Amanda got out of the car, and locked the doors She walked over to make sure her friend was not making an ass out of herself. When she got over to Kim and Tommy, Kim was begging for his autograph, he was a really nice guy, and he signed her book next to the picture of the band, and then took a picture with her. As we were walking away Tommy yelled out onto the bus
"Yo, Nick and AJ you two better get moving they’re gonna wanna start soon"
Kim stopped dead in her tracks
