~*~*Chapter 1*~*~
"That's it! Hold still, yeah, I like that!!" the photographer called while frantically taking shots of the model that stood before him. Riana Walker watched from the corner as the model obeyed every whim that the photographer had. In frustration, Riana walked outside and sat down in the passenger seat of her car.
"I don't know how she does it," she mumbled to herself. Riana was a middle-classed model, only modeling for small magazines in which little people heard of, but now she wanted to be in the spotlight. She had waited all of her life to become seventeen, for when she turned seventeen she could pursue her dream of becoming a model. Now, eighteen, she wanted to become one of the worlds most renown models of all time. Little did she know the prices that came with that title.

"Phew! I'm surprised I made it out of there alive!" Brian Littrell said as he plopped himself down on one of the couches on the tour bus.
"Brian, what happened to you?" Nick Carter asked, looking up from his video game.
"I was mobbed by a few fans, that's all." Brian said sarcastically. Nick laughed.
"So where are we off to next?" Nick asked.
"I don't know, Kevin probably does," Brian said, taking off his shoes and jacket. Nick nodded and walked towards the back of the bus to find Kevin and Howie, talking about the tour with some of the crew.
"Hey Nick. What's up?" Kevin asked once he saw him.
"Nothing, I was just wondering if you knew where we were going next?" Nick asked.
"England, I think. Why??" Kevin wanted to know.
"No reason. Thanks Kev," with that, Nick returned to his video game.

"So, let me get this straight. You want me to find you a place here in London, where they would accept eighteen year old models?" Leah Seaman asked her best friend.
"Yes. Could you do it? Please??" Riana begged. The two girls sat in Leah's living room of her London pad.
"Why? Don't you pose for that magazine like, Life, or something like that?" Leah asked.
"See, you don't even know the name! It's A Day In The Life," Riana scoffed.
"So? Aren't you having publicity modeling for that?"
"I'm ready for the world to know me. I want the people in the US to know me! I want for everyone to see me on the cover of Time magazines, on stamps, everything!" Riana said.
"Well, honey, the only way that you will get on a stamp is if you die, so scratch that out," Leah joked, trying to relieve her friends anguish.
"Leah, I'm serious. I really want to do this!" Riana complied.
"OK, fine. Pass me the newspaper and we'll see if they are holding auditions for any models, ok?" Leah said unenthused.
"Thanks! Leah, you're the best!" Riana exclaimed, throwing an arm around her best friend.

"Nick, c'mon!" Kevin called to Nick. Nick was busy getting his belongings in the back of the bus, while the other guys waited in the front of the bus. Nick looked out of the tinted windows, and stared at the throngs and throngs of fans that lay before the five of them.
"Ok, Nick. You go first!" Howie said.
"What?? Why me??" Nick asked.
"Because. You will get attacked first so we can go in a little easier," Brian said, and pushed Nick off the bus.
"Brian!!!!" Nick screamed as the fans swarmed around him, touching his face and pulling out his hair, while the other guys ran right through the crowd with the occasional hello and autograph.

"Where's Nick?" AJ asked in the hotel room. Brian sat reading a magazine and AJ watched TV.
"I don't know. Probably getting raped by a fan," Brian said, not looking up from what he was reading. As soon as those words came out of his mouth, there was a loud bang. Brian and AJ looked up to see Nick, with his close ripped and his hair standing in every direction. The two of them burst out laughing, while Nick stood there, raging like a mad bull.
"What the hell is so funny???" Nick fumed, his voice rising a few notches. Brian and AJ laughed even harder.
"What's all this noise about?" Howie asked, coming in from the back bedroom. He stopped when he saw Nick, standing there like a mad man while AJ and Brian laughed. Howie, being the mediator of the group, stood in front of Nick and placed his hands on his shoulders.
"Nick, what's wrong?" Howie asked, trying to avert Nick's attention to him and not his friends who were dying of laughter.
"Brian! You did this to me!! It's all your fault!! Look at my hair!!" Nick bellowed, throwing Howie's hands off his shoulders and running towards Brian's direction.
"Woah, easy Nick. Calm down, I didn't think that they would do all of this to you!" Brian said, gesturing towards Nick's ripped clothes.
"What am I going to do now?" Nick asked. He plopped down on the couch and placed his head in his hands.
"Well, we can go get you a haircut so your hair will be evened for the concert tomorrow night," AJ suggested. "It was getting too long anyway," he muttered. Nick sighed and looked at the clock on the wall. It read 8:45.
"Well, I'm going to go take a nap. I'm worn out." Nick said. "See ya guys later." Howie, AJ, and Brian watched at Nick walked into his room and shut the door. They all looked at each other and all three of them started laughing uncontrollably.

"Any luck?" Riana asked Leah, who was sprawled out on the floor of the living room with about six newspapers in front of her.
"No, and why am I the one who is looking for this? Aren't you the one that wants to become a model?" Leah asked in frustration.
"Yup, but Leah. I have complete faith in you," Riana said, and walked into the kitchen to make some more coffee.
"Hey! Ree, I found one!" Leah exclaimed and circled the ad with a red marker.
"Where?"
"Right here."
"Well, what does it say?" Riana asked.
"Models from the ages of 16-24 needed for the cover of the Teen Magazine!" Leah exclaimed, her eyes wide.
"Teen?!? That's one of the biggest magazines in the world!" Riana exclaimed. "Well, when is it?"
"Saturday at 12. Gotta get you ready, girl!"

Nick woke up with a yawn early in the morning around 7:30. Not wanting to lay in bed, he stretched and walked out of his room, and gazed out the window. Only about 20 fans lingered, not as much as there was last night. He sighed and walked towards Brian's room, about to knock when he heard a light snore come from the other side.
"I'll let him sleep," Nick said. He walked into the kitchen to find some chocolate milk, but was disappointed to find that there was only coffee left.
"Damn!" Nick said. The morning was already off to a bad start. Nick sat down on the couch, when he felt something underneath him. It was the magazine that Brian was reading yesterday.
"A Day In The Life," Nick mumbled outloud. He flipped the pages of the magazine, not really paying attention to what he was looking at. His eyes landed upon a girl that looked about his age, who was sporting an evening gown. Nick shook his head and threw the magazine onto the coffee table. Women were bad. Women were pure evil, in Nick's view.
"It's all because of her....." Nick said angrily, vivid scenes playing backwards in his mind. If women were pure evil, how come he couldn't get her angelic face out of his head?
