Chapter 19
“What Nicky dear?” Nat said sitting up on him.
“First I’ll let you and only you call me Nicky when were alone.”
“I like that one.”
“I know, and you know when we went out you would say I love you and I’d say me too?”
“I’ve always wondered about that. Why?”
“Because, it’s hard. I mean that’s why I could tell you that before or to your face.”
“I see that.” she said pinching his cheek.
“Hey, don’t do that.”
“Do what?” She said staring at him.
“Pinch me. In the cheek.”
“So I can pinch you anywhere else?”
“Yes..... I mean no. No!”
“Does that hurt you or something?”
“No I just don’t like it.”
"Okay, I sowrry.”
“Good.” They both leaned into a kiss when Nick’s stomach growled. Nat looked at him.
“You hungry?”
“Yeah.”
“Well then, I’ll make you something, lets go eat.” she said getting off of him. Nick grabbed her arm.
“You can’t cook. You said it yourself.”
“I never did cook. Nothing big. Never tried, besides there’s a first time for everything.”
“Yeah....but.”
“Come on were going to eat.” She said pulling Nick up.
“Okay you better not kill me.”
“I won’t If I do I’ll kill myself.”
“That’s good.”
“Come on.”
They went downstairs and Nat went through the fridge, while Nick got some cups.
“So what do you want?”
“Anything it doesn’t matter.”
“Okay, eggs okay?”
“Yeah sure.”
She started to get out everything and the phone rang.
“Nicky please get the phone.” Nick looked at her from eating his apple.
