Chapter 13
The next day about five at night Nick and Nat were decorating for the dance. They both went home to change. She got there about seven thirty
Nick came up to her.
“Hey were’s Drew?” He asked.
“He said he was coming around eight.”
“Oh, I see.”
“Yeah.”
“So later I want a dance with you.”
“Alright I’ll think about it.” She said.
Nick took her hand and pulled her into the dance floor.
“How about now?” He asked.
“Alright, you loser.”
“I try.”
The song ended and a slow song came on.
“You still want to do this?” Nick said.
“Sure.”
Nick pulled her closer to him. She put her arms around his neck and he hand his around his waist. Nat put her head on his shoulder Nick really didn’t want that moment to end.
When to song ended Nat pulled away and looked up at Nick. “Thanks.” She said.
“No problem.”
“Well, I’m going to wait outside for Drew. I’ll umm... see you later.”
“Okay, hey Nat?”
“What?”
“Can I have another dance later?”
“Sure I’d like that. Your spending the night right?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay cool.”
Nat walked outside and waited. She went outside about 8:15. She waited until 9:15 and finally figured that he dumped her so she went in and sat on the steps where no one was there and cried. Nick was looking everywhere for Nat, He saw her sitting on the steps and crying. His heart dropped when he saw her. Nick ran up to get a tissue for her and went up behind her and put it in front of her. Nat looked up and saw the tissue their she laughed and took it as Nick sat down next to her.
