True Hearts??
Chapter 1
“Come on Don! Stop! I don’t want to do this!” Nat screamed.
Nat with her boyfriend Don in his car just off the side the city in a forest.
They were kissing and Don just started to get more into in. Nat just wanted him to stop.
“Why? Come on Nat. It’s not going to hurt no one will know.”
“Well I said NO!” She screamed and pushed him off of her.
He grabbed her arm and pulled her back toward him.
“What are you doing? You r the one who started this so come on!”
“Don Now! I just want to go home.” She again pushed him off of her and went for the door this time.
“What are you doing Bitch?” He yelled and grabbed onto her arm.
“Let go! Your hurting me!” She said trying to make him let go of her.
“No! Not until we finish this!”
“Well I’m done so let me go!” She said and pushed him onto the floor. She ran toward the car door and opened it and got one foot out. When he grabbed onto her arm once again. He pulled his fist back and punched her in the eye.
Nat jumped out of the car and started to run for her house.
Don screamed out at her “You slut!” and drove off.
Nat ran home crying, with a black and blue eye. When she got home, she got home she ran upstairs into her room. She went straight for her bed and started to cry. She didn’t know what to do.
After a few min she changed into her flannel pants and a t shirt and started to read a book while hugging her teddy bear.
Ten min after that the phone rang.
“Hello.” She said.
“Hey you.”
“Hi...Um...Nick.”
“What’s the matter?”
“Nothing.”
“Something is wrong.”
“Nothings wrong Nick.”
“I’m coming over to find out what’s wrong.”
“Nicks don’t!”
He hung up the phone.
Nat and Nick used to go out. They both broke up under good terms. They became really good friends and you could say that Nick was very protective of her and just knew that something was wrong.
Nat quickly ran to find a hat to cover up her eye. She then went back to reading.
Nick got to her house and walked in using his key she gave him.
He ran upstairs and walked into her bedroom.
“Now what’s the matter?”
“Nothing Nick. You wasted a trip when nothings wrong.” She said uneasily
“No.... Something is wrong. Why are you wearing a hat it’s not outside?”
“I like it.”
“Hmm...” He walked up to her and took off the hat playfully.
“Nick don’t!” She yelled at him as the hat went off.
She looked at him.
“Your eye.” He said.
“It was my fault.” She said looking at the bed.
“How could this be your fault?” Nick said sitting down next to her.
“I got in his way.” She said staring at a spot on her bed.
“Liars you little liar. Tell me really what happened. I’m not going to do anything to you.”
“I....Can’t?”
“Okay Nat, I’m going to get something for that eye. But you have to promise to tell me what happened. Promise?”
“Yeah.”
“Say it then, Say I promise.”
“I promise.”
“I’ll be back.”
“Great.” She said.
He walked out of her room and went downstairs into the kitchen. He went into the fridge and started to put ice into a bag. Her mom came in.
“She’s been hit again by Don?” her mom asked Nick.
“Yeah.” He said.
“Why does she still go out with him?”
“I don’t know, but I’ve tried to tell her to break up with him so many times.”
“Nick, and it’s up to her now. Just keep on doing whatever your trying to do.”
“I will.”
“Why don’t you go out with her? You don’t have a girlfriend, do you?”
“Yeah....kind of.”
“Oh sorry. If she makes you or asks you to sleep over you can”
“All right.”
“Nite Nick.”
“Nite.”
Nick walked back into Nat’s room.
“Here.” He said giving her the ice.
“Thank you.” She said taking the ice.
“So, now what happened?”
“We were kissing and things lead to another and I didn’t want to do it with him and well you know the rest.” She said starting to cry.
“Come here.”
She went to him and started to cry on him.
“Shhh... Please stop crying. If you said no, he was wrong.” He said to rub her back.
“Nick.... I’m scared.”
“Shhh... Don’t be. I’m going to be here for you anytime.”
“Why? I mean we broke up because of him.”
“Because I’m your friend.”
“You are?” She said looking up at him.
He smiled. “Yeah, I am.” He started to rub her arm.
“Thanks.”
“Its okay.” He gave her a kiss on the head.
“Your not going to leave are you?”
“No, I’ll stay.”
“Thanks.”
“Let me go wash my hands okay?”
“All right Nick.”
Nat went into her bed and Nick came out of her bathroom and layed next to her.
“How’s your eye now?”
“A little bit better now. Thanks.”
“Tomorrow we’re going out no exceptions.”
“Okay.”
“Nite Nat.”
“Nite Nick.”
He poked her in the side and put his arms around her.
“Your mean.”
“Just go to sleep Nat.”
“I am.”
They both fell asleep that night.
