*Nat*
Later on that night, Aaron was sleeping in the guest room, while Nick and I went into our own bed. Lexi started to cry so I got up and took care of her walking around the house talking to her. “You know that you daddy’s going to spoil you rotten? I bet that’s why you wanted someone to come and pick you up. There’s nothing wrong with you sweetie.” I cooed at her. She yawned. “Now you want to sleep, let’s get you to bed in mommy’s and daddy’s room.” I said walking to our room, as I heard Nick and Aaron talking.
“I never knew Nat more than a really good friend back in high school, well in the beginning. We were paired up together from the second day on to do reports and stuff together so that’s how I started to get to know her, you remember her coming over and we would be working on it with each other.” Nick said.
“Yeah, I remember one day where you guys were in our room, and I walked in and I saw you two laughing about something, so I asked what it was about and you kicked me out. Nat yelled at you for that I remember that, that’s probably why I like her more than any other girl that you went out with.”
“That was probably the first time I realized that she wasn’t just the girl that I did homework with once every week. Remember when she told me to come back in you went and gave her a hug, now I thought for weeks that you had a crush on you, but mom told me you were only seven and that was to young.”
“I didn’t I just like her a lot, she would invite me and BJ to come in and do things to help you two. I love it, but you didn’t look so happy.”
“No, I wasn’t. I got used to it though.” Nick sighed and I watched him get up and pick up Michael.
“Nick you remember when you two were kissing and I ran it?” Aaron asked. Nick laughed, “yeah I remember, that was the day I asked Nat to go out with me, she laughed, but I knew she was so nervous about it, because we were really good friends. So I went in and kissed her, we got really into it, until, you ran in and Nat started to laugh, but I got so mad, that after Nat went home I yelled at you.” Aaron looked at Nick, “but then she called you up and yelled at you.” he laughed.
“She’s got something in her that I don’t know, knows everything about me. That’s probably why I love her so much.”
“Nick, I have something to ask you.” Aaron said. Nick sat down next to him, putting Michael on his chest. “Go for it.” Nick said. “How did you know that you and Nat were going to be together forever?” Nick looked at Michael and then back at his brother. “Well, when she first broke up with me, it seems weird but thinking of everything she went through, it came true. Why what’s going on with you?” Nick asked.
“Okay, I got this girl, her name is Sam, I call her Sammy and were friends, but I want more, because she’s just like Nat in some ways, you know? But I want to bring her somewhere, but being 15 it’s so hard because mom is everywhere.” Nick looked at the sleeping baby on him and back at his brother. “Airboy, I think that Nat and I wouldn’t mind if you guys came here, just as long as she doesn’t mind three babies crying, screaming, and you know doing baby stuff. She could be help too. So you two can come here anytime, I’ll make you a key so Nat doesn’t have to drop what she’s doing to get the door. Alright?”
“Thanks. You sure that Nat won’t mind?” he asked as I walked in. “As long as you two don’t do anything dumb, yes.” I said walking in, putting Lexi in her bed, and sitting next to Nick on our bed.
“Thanks.” Aaron said giving me a kiss on the check. “I’m going to go to bed, I’ll see you two in the morning.” he said walking out. Then I whispered to him. “Unless all three of them wake up, you’re here to help remember that.” I said and he waved. I turned to Nick and smiled. “He’s just like you in so many ways.”
“Oh yeah? That’s odd, we’re only brothers.” “Mmm hmm. Damn my back hurts.” I said trying to crack it.
“Maybe, later on I’ll give you one of my famous back rubs, if you want one.” he said.
“Sounds good. Now, I think Michael likes his.” I said as we put our heads against each other, he smiled. “Yeah. I love these kids you know? But I love you too baby doll.” he said kissing my head and bringing me closer to him. “Let’s get some sleep.” he said. “Just don’t turn over and kill our kid.” I joked, he shot me a look. “I’m kidding, sweetie.” I said going to sleep in his arms.
