Bumping into Love 9& 10

~*~*Chapter 9*~*~

Brian heard the water turn on in the shower. He closed his eyes and reminisced the kiss the night before on that very same couch. He remembered the silkiness of her hair. He sighed. He flipped through the channels and decided to watch some Cartoons. Just then the phone rang. He decided to let the machine pick it up:

"Hey, it's Heather. I'm not in right now. Leave a message and I'll call you back," Heather's recorded voice had said.

"Hey, hun. It's Mom. Hows everything going? Just a little reminder that Dannny's graduation is next week. It's his big day, after all, your little brother IS graduating from high school. Are you bringing Monica along? Well, give me a call back. Love ya sweetie." Click.

"That was interesting," Brian went and sat back on the couch. A few minutes later Heather came down the stairs. She was wearing a blue tank-top and jean shorts. She was showing the nicest Floridean tans. Brian was stunned.

"Hello?!" Heather waved a hand in front of Brian's face.

"Oh, hey. Your mom called. She left a message."

"OK, thanks." She listened to her message. It had totally slipped her mind about her brothers graduation. All of a sudden two muscular arms encircled her waist.

"You going to call her back?" He nuzzled her neck.

"Not now," she whispered, turning around to face him. They leaned in and met in the middle with a kiss.

"You know what?" Brian whispered. They were now forehead-to-forehead. "I have an idea. How about we go to Charleston Park?" Brian asked her. Heather crinkled her nose. "What's that?" she asked. Brian smiled. He walked into the kitchen and started raiding her cabinets.

"There's one problem, Heather. You've got no food in your house. None." He crossed his arms. Heather shrugged. "Well," Brian said, "we need to make a trip to the supermarket." He walked over to her and picked her up.

"BRIAN!!! PUT ME DOWN!!" she screamed in protest. He laughed, not listening to a word she was screaming. He carried her to his car and buckled her in. They were off to the super-market.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heather watched Brian put his sunglasses in. As they were walking in, Brian reached for her hand. She smiled into those blue eyes. Many people bustled around inside the market. Brian grabbed a cart and went down the first aisle, grabbing as many things as he possibly could.
"Brian, what are you doing?" she asked him as he grabbed some German Matzaballs. (my friend made that name up).
"You never know what you will need," he told her, laughing. "You're IT!!" Brian said to Heather, as he ran down the aisle.
"No fair!!" Heather charged after him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Heather was gaining speed on Brian as he ran down the aisle. She jumped onto his back.

"WOAH!!" Brian fell backwards onto the floor, leaving them sprawled along the aisle. They were both dying of laughter. Heather's sides ached from laughing. Then a man with a manager's tag came up to them with a stern look on his face.

"Sorry," Brian said, trying to hold in his laughter. They bought their food and headed to Charleston Park.

~*~*Chapter 10*~*~

Brian and Heather finally arrived at Charleston Park. It was beautiful. The couple walked hand in hand until they found a tree in the shade. They spread a blanket abd got ready to eat the variety of foods that they had bought. They sank their teeth into a fresh watermelon.

"Want to go for a walk?" Brian asked when they were finished.

"Sure." Brian helped her stand up. Brian put his arms around her waist. He kissed her forehead and held her close. They walked into a meadow of flowers. He bent down and picked a flower. He placed it behind her ear.

"Here ya go," he whispered, before giving her a sweet kiss.

~~~~~
A few hours later, they were laying on the blanket, watching the sunset. Heather was enjoying the silence. Just having his company made her happy.
"Heather?" Brian asked her.
"Yea?"
"I know we just met yesterday and all, but you mean a lot to me. I feel like I've known you forever, but I met you only YESTERDAY! I have been having the best 2 days of my life."
"I know, Brian. I was actually thinking about something. Would you like to be my guest at my brother's graduation?"
