~*~*Chapter 3*~*~
"What a good way to start the day," Heather said cheerfully. She couldnt believe her luck. She had not met anyone like Brian in so long. Her thoughts were interrupted when the phone rang. She answered on the first ring.
"Hello?" she asked anxiously.
"Hey, girl!" It was Tiffanni, her old college roomate.
"Oh, hey." Heather tried to hide her dissappointment. She was hoping it was Brian.
"Just wanted to call and tell you I'm on my honeymoon."
"Aleady?" Heather questioned. It seemed like yesterday Tiffanni had met Jason. Now she was a married woman.
"Yup! I wish you were able to come to the wedding. It was beautiful, Heather." She listened to Tiffannni ramble on and on until she heard a beep coming from the other line.
"Sorry to interrupt you, Tiff, but I've got a beep coming from the other line."
"Yea, I better go anyway. Jason and I are off to the beach!" Tiffanni clicked goodbye. Heather took a deep breath before saying hello. She had a hunch who it was. She mustered up the courage.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Hey." Brian's familiar voice filled the other end.
"Oh, hi. Whats up?" she asked him, trying to make small talk.
"Nothing really. I was thinking about your shirt that I ruined. You wouldnt believe how sorry I am."
"Brian," she said with a laugh,"dont worry about it. I could easily buy another one."
"You want to?" Brian suddenly asked her. Heather was taken aback. She was shocked by his forwardness. She liked it.
"You want to pick me up and take me to get a new shirt," she asked him, trying to get the story straight.
"Sure, why not?" he replied coyly.
"Ummm..ok." She quickly told him directions to her apartment and scurried to get ready.

BZZZ!! Heather's doorbell chimed into her ears.
She checked herself one more time in the mirror before opening the door.
"Hey there, " Brian said, flashing her a smile. She smiled in return. She locked the door and they headed into the sunset towards the mall.
~*~*Chapter 4*~*~(kinda short, but oh well)
Before they had even gotten to the mall, Brian had Heather in stitches. Everything he did was funny: the faces he made, the voices he did. She thought she was the luckiest woman alive.
When they got there, there were people looking at them. She wondered why, but her thoughts were interrupted again by ear-piercing screams. "It's Brian!" some girl screamed. Her scream was followed by other girls.
"RUN!!" Brian screamed. Heather didn't understand, but she followed him. They hopped back into his BMW and drove away with no explanation.
