~*~*Chapter 15*~*~
The next day Heather woke up at 12:00. She didnt want to face the day without Brian. She rolled onto her stomach. She put her fingers to her lips. She remembered the touch of Brian's warm lips on her own. She managed to get her mind off of Brian and onto breakfast. She went downstairs and made some pancakes. Her mind drifted back to Brian when the phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hey, girl!" It was Monica.
"Hey, whats up?"
"Whats up with me? Whats up with YOU is the question! Whats going on between you and Brian?" Heather laughed. She quickly filled her in on all juicy details of the past 4 days.
"Wow!" Monica exclaimed. "He's Brian Littrell of the Backstreet Boys?"
"Yes! He is so sweet! you wouldnt believe what he did to me yesterday! He called me from my kitchen and gave me breakfast in bed. I couldnt believe it! He's coming with me to Danny's graduation. [Author's Note: Danny is her brother]
"Did you get a dress? You would like to look good, you know."
"Don' t worry about that, I've got that covered," Heather said, a smile creeping on her face. They talked idle chatter until 2:00.
"Heather, I got to go. Joshua is taking me to the beach," Monica said.
"OK!" They said goodbye and hung up the phone. Heather was born, so she decided to clean.
"Let's get started!" She started her work.....
BRIAN
Brian looked at the little houses from the plane. He wondered what Heather was doing back home, probably still sleeping. He remembered her sleeping face in the back of his car. It seemed like only yesterday that he had gone out to get some lunch. He ended up meeting the woman of his dreams. He couldnt take it anymore. He picked up his cell phone and dialed 7 numbers.
"Hello?" a woman answered, out of breath.
"Heather?" Brian asked.
"BRIAN!" Heather screamed with excitement. He was so happy to hear her voice again.
"I'm counting the hours until I see you again," Brian admitted.
"Aww, Brian, you're so sweet. The day is so long when you're gone."
"Well, I got to go, watch MTV at 7:00, ok?" Brian asked.
"Sure, Bye Brian."
Brian listened to hear Heather's click on the other end. "I love you," he whispered.
~*~*Chapter 16*~*~
It was finally 7:00. She turned on MTV as Brian instructed her to. She heard screaming. She looked up and saw the Backstreet Boys, live in the MTV Studios. They introduced themselves, and Heather's heart fluttered when she saw Brian. There were several girls crying in the audience. She didnt know the effect that they had on them. Now she understood. The fans began asking questions, and the guys played around and joked with the fans. Heather found herself laughing along with them. They took a commercial break. Her mind went back to the day before, in the dressing room. She glanced at her dress in the corner of the room.
"OH NO!" She forgot to call her mom back. She picked up the phone, dialed the numbers and waited. The machine picked it up. She waited for the beep and left her message:
"Hey, Mom, its me. I got your message. Umm....I invited my new boyfriend, Brian, to come along. Just give me a call back, ok? Luv ya!"
She hung up the phone as they returned from the break.
"And now, the Backstreet Boys, singing their new single, "I Want It That Way," the MTV VJ said. She heard the sound of music and the camera focused on Brian. He closed his eyes.
"You are my fire. The one desire. Believe when I say, I want it that way," Brian sang.
Heather drew a breath. Brian's voice sounded like an angel. His voice was so smooth. She watched quietly as the boys sang. They were all fantastic and she coudlnt wait until Brian came home the next day.

BRIAN
"Phew, that went well," Nick said in their hotel room.
"I know, we've never had a crowd like that for a TV Appearance before," Kevin Richardson remarked. Nick plopped down on his bed when Brian walked in. It looked as if Brian was in deep thought.
"Hey, B-Rok" Nick said.
"Hey, Frack." Brian took off his hat and put it on the table.
"What are you thinking about?" Kevin asked Brian.
"Oh, nothing. Just wondering."
"About...."
"Wondering if I took a plane to Florida right now and got there before tomorrow.
"You want to see Heather, huh?" Nick asked from his spot on the bed. Brian flushed. He didnt think it was THAT obvious.
"Well, why dont you find out?" Kevin asked, handing him the phone. Brian paused.
"You know what? I will!" Brian declared, taking the phone from Kevin. He was going home to Heather.
