~*~*Chapter 41*~*~
Heather gasped.
"Brian, do you really mean that?" Heather asked.
"Of course I do, Heather. With all of my heart," he said, his voice full of emotion. He took her hand and placed it in his own. "Will you, Heather? Please?" He asked.
"Oh, Brian. Of course I will!" She kissed his cheek. The song was over so they went back to their table and ate their meal quietly.
"Look! They have karaoke!" Brian said to Heather.
"Don't even think about it, Brian!" Heather exclaimed as Brian dragged her towards the karaoke bar. Brian chuckled. He flipped through a bunch of tapes, coming across a song that would make this night perfect. An old classic.
"Brian, please don't make me do this!" Heather pleaded.
"Aw, why not? It'd be fun!" Brian said and pulled her onstage.
"My voice is horrible!" she whispered in his ear. He grabbed their microphones and waited for the lyrics to Sonny and Cher's "Babe" to come on the screen. Many people stopped eating and looked at the couple onstage. Brian's sweet voice filled the room as Heather's heart pounded when she first started to sing. Brian held her hand for support, but let go when he realized that she had the courage.
"Babe. I've got you, Babe," they sang together, oblivious to the crowd that was clapping for them. The song was over and the two of them got standing ovations. Heather's cheeks were a flaming red, but Brian just watched her, not ashamed or embarrassed in any way. [Author's Note: I mean, he does do this everyday!] They quickly paid their bill and hopped in the car.
"I think they liked you," Brian said and gave Heather a kiss on the cheek.
"God, it was so scary up there! How do you do it, Brian?" Heather asked. Brian shrugged.
"Comes naturally, I guess," Brian said. Heather laughed. Within a few minutes, they were back in the hotel room.
"I'm so tired!" Brian said with a yawn.
"I don't blame you. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night either, for some odd reason," Heather said seductively.
"You can go to bed," Brian said and stripped down to his boxers and climbed under the covers.
"I have a better idea....." Heather said, and followed him into bed.

Monica hung up the phone and felt two arms encircle her back. Soon, she was kissing Nick for the hundredth time that day. Suddenly, Monica pushed him away.
"What?" Nick asked.
"Oh, Nick. I have a boyfriend. Oh no, what do I do?" Monica cried.
"You have a boyfriend?" Nick asked. Monica nodded her head slowly. How could she forget about Josh? ' I know why. A 6'1 guy with gorgeous blue eyes walked into your life,' she reminded herself silently. Nick just stood there, obviously shocked.
"Nick, I am so sorry, I-" Monica started.
"Look. It was nothing, ok? A kiss. Big deal. Let's just put it behind us. Forgotten," Nick said abruptly.
' Put it behind me? How can I? I've never been kissed like that in my life!' she wanted to scream to Nick, but instead, she just stood there.
"I got to go. I'll be back later, ok? Are you staying here again, tonight?" Monica asked Nick. "Yea, see ya later." Nick said. Monica grabbed her keys and sped away in her car. She didn't know where she was going.
After driving for about 20 minutes, she decided to go back home. She really needed a shoulder to cry on. She needed Heather.

~*~*Chapter 42*~*~
Heather woke up to the sound of Brian's cell phone.
"Hello?" Brian asked sleepily. Heather sat up with Brian and pulled the covers up to her chest.
"Brian, its Nick."
"Nick? What the hell are you doing, calling me this early? It's only 7:00!" Brian screamed.
"Oh yea! Time difference," Nick remembered.
"What do you want, Nick?" Brian asked again and laid back down, pulling Heather towards him so she was laying on his lap.
"Girl trouble." Nick said.
"What else is new?" Brian asked.
"Well, yesterday I kissed Monica, and after a long time of, you know, kissing, she told me she had a boyfriend. I told her to forget about the kiss, but I'm not going to forget about it and I don't want her too, either." Nick said.
"Oh, that bites, Nick." Brian said.
"Gee, thanks." Nick said sarcastically.
"I don't know what else to tell you, Nick." Brian said.
"Is Heather awake?" Nick asked.
"She is now."
"Let me talk to her, ok?" Nick pleaded. Brian handed the phone over to Heather before drifting back to sleep.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Hey, Heather. I have a big problem. Did Monica tell you?" Nick asked.
"Nope, you beat her to it." Heather said. Nick quickly told Heather about what happened.
"Well, Nick, I know Monica. Whatever Monica likes, Monica takes. She obviously likes you since she kissed YOU first, but then, she has been dating Josh for the past year. I don't know how she forgot him like that," Heather reasoned.
"Heather, I can't act like it didn't happen It takes four lips to kiss and two of them were hers. I can't let her slip through my fingers. I like her alot!" Nick told Heather.
"Well, Nick. The only thing I can tell you is to prove it. Prove to Monica that you will be a better boyfriend then Josh and win her back."
"Thanks, Heather. I better go and let the two of you finish...whatever you were doing. Bye!" Nick said and hung up. Heather sighed. The only reason Monica forgot about Josh was because she was too busy falling for Nick. Monica was always like that. Heather looked down at Brian while her fingers traced invisible circles around his chest. His eyes slowly opened.
"Hey, you" Heather said. Brian smiled. 'Hey."
"Brian, let's stay here all day today."
"Where? In bed?" Brian asked. Heather nodded with a playful smile.
"Oh, I get you," Brian said before Heather kissed him.
