Bumping into Love Ch. 19 & 20

*~*Chapter 19*~*~

Brian was right when he said that there would be a lot of fans there. When they arrived there, they were bombarded by fans. There was high-tech security and policemen trying to hold the fans back. Brian returned the rental car.

"Here goes nothing," he mumbled, squeezing Heather's hand for reassurance. They got out of the car and ran inside, trying to go unnoticed. OMIGOD!! IT'S BRIAN!!" one girl screamed. Soon after, the place erupted in ear-piercing screams.

Brian smiled and waved to them. Slowly but surely, they made their way on the plane and found their seats. Heather's ears still hurt from the screaming. They settled in and the plane took off.

"Thank you for flying Delta airlines," the flight attendant said. Brian and Heather played tic-tac-toe all the way to Michigan.

"I haven't been home since Christmas!" Heather raved while getting their bags. She looked for her parents. "My family is looking forward to meeting you," she said, kissing him.

"Brian?" a little girl asked him. They looked down and saw a girl of 6 years holding a piece of paper and a pen for Brian to sign. "May I have your autograph?" she asked shyly. He bent down to her height so they were eye-to-eye.

"What's your name, sweetie?" he asked her.

"Beth," she replied. He quickly scrawled his signature on the paper.

"Thanks!" she called happily, walking away.

"Hey! Heather!" Heather heard her Dad's familiar voice.

"Dad!" she screamed and jogged over to him and gave him a big hug. The whole family reunited. She remembered Brian standing next to her.

"Oh, Mom. This is my boyfriend, Brian Littrell."

"Nice to meet you, Brian." She shook his hand as well as her father did. They asked Brian all type of questions that parents ask.

"You do seem kind of familiar," her mother said in the car....

When they got home, they weren't surprised to see Danny, his girlfriend Tricia and Danielle in the driveway. They all hugged and introduced themselves to Brian.

"Hey, Heather, you wanna see my room? Danielle implored.

"Sure, can Brian come? I want to show him the house."

The three of them walked inside the air-conditioned house.

"This hasn't changed a bit!" Heather exclaimed. She looked in every room of her house with memories of each room. They walked up to Danielle's room. As soon as Heather walked in, her eyes landed on a poster of the Backstreet Boys on her sister's wall.

"Look, Bri! It's you!" She pointed to the wall.

"Oh, yea! It is!!" Danielle shrieked. The three of them talked for about 20 minutes until there was a knock on the door.

"Hey, guys! Wanna go for a swim?" Danny asked them.

"Yea! We'll be there in a minute!" Danielle said as she grabbed her suit.

"You wanna go?" Heather asked Brian.

"Yea, my bathing suit is in my bag, I'll be right back." He got up and left the room. Danielle returned from the bathroom.

"You coming?" asked Danielle.

"Yup," she said, grabbing her black bikini, "be right there."

~*~*Chapter 20*~*~

Brian got his bathing suit out of his bag and quickly slipped it on. He walked out onto the patio and saw Danny and Heather's parents. They chatted for a few minutes. He liked her family. He heard the door slide open and Heather came out wearing a tank top and jean shorts. She had sunglasses on the top of her head. Brian fought the urge to kiss her lips. Her father spoke up.

"Well, we are going to head down to the school and set up the gym. See you guys later. Danny, are you coming?" her father asked.

"Nah, I'm going over Jeff's." They watched as their parents and Danny took off down the street. Danielle was already in the water.

"Come on, its warm!" Danielle said. Brian took off his shirt and headed towards the pool. He felt it with his hand and flipped off the side. The water WAS warm. He looked up and watched Heather. She took off her tank, revealing a beautiful body with beautiful curves. He caught his breath and climbed out of the pool. He walked over to Heather who was turned the other way. He grabbed her by the waist ans hauled her over his shoulders.

"BRIAN!!! PUT ME DOWN!!" she screamed as he walked onto the diving board.

"You ready?" Brian asked.

"BRIAN!! NO!!" Heather insisted. She was laughing now. Brian turned towards Danielle.

"Should I?" he asked her.

"Definitely," Danielle said smirking. Despite Heather's protests, he jumped off the diving board with Heather in his arms.

The three of them played in the water until they looked like raisins.

"I'm cold, I'm getting out," Danielle said. The phone rang and it was for Danielle. Brian and Heather stood there. All of a sudden, Brian splashed Heather in the face. She splashed him back and soon it was a splashing war.

20 minutes later, they dried themselves off. They walked back into the house and saw a note from Danielle saying that she was staying at her friends house for the night.

"Looks like it's just you and me, Bri," she said slipping an arm around his waist.

"Guess so," he said as she led the way to her room, her hand in his. She opened the door and before she got to turn around, Brian was already kissing her.

"Brian," she murmured softly as they fell onto her bed.

"You're beautiful," he said looking at her bikini clad body. They kissed some more and her windows were steamed up. Heather let out a small cry as Brian kissed her navel. They stopped abruptly when they heard her parents car in the driveway.

"Brian! They're home!" They quickly scurried to compose themselves and ran downstairs to the kitchen, just in the NICK of time. They sat down at the counter.

"Hello," her parents said when they walked in. Brian munched on an apple. Heather told them the story with Danielle's plans and started talking about how Brian and Heather met. Her parents seemed to like Brian.

"You know what I found Heather?" her mother told her.

" Oh no, what?" Heather asked. She dreaded the answer. She crossed her fingers under the table while her mother went to the living room. Brian put his hand on her knee.

"Come here!" her mother called. They went into the living room and saw her mother putting a tape in the VCR. Heather stopped dead in her tracks. On the TV was home videos of Heather when she was a little girl.

"Now this is something I want to see," Brian said, plopping down on the couch. Heather sat there, mortified.

When they were done, Brian was laughing at her hysterically.

"It's not THAT funny," Heather said to Brian.

"Yes, it is," Brian said through his laughter. They were enjoying themselves.

"Brian, you can sleep in the guestroom tonight, will that be alright?" Heather's mom asked.

"Yea, sure." He stood up. He turned to Heather.

"I going to bed. I'm pooped." he said.

They went upstairs to get some sheets from the linen closet. They said nothing while they made the bed. Heather took her hair out of her ponytail, and Brian sat there, gazing at her. No matter what she did, she was still amazing. She caught him staring at her.

"What?" she asked.

"Nothing," Brian lied, taking off his shirt and crawling into bed.

"Ok, then. You know where my room is, ok?" Heather said, kissing him quickly. She went upstairs into her room, turned off her light and snuggled into her bed. The house was silent. She wondered what Brian was doing. She got so curious that she didnt even realize that she was on her way downstairs towards his room. She was about to knock when she heard his voice on his cell phone. His voice was low, as if it was trying to sound muffled. She put her ear on the door and listened.

" I can't Nick," she managed to hear him say. Her heart sounded loudly in her chest.

"I'm not leaving her yet, Nick. They are letting me stay here so-" Heather didnt bother to listen to the rest of Brian's sentence.

'I'm not gonna leave her yet? What was that all about?' Heather thought to herself. Her heart was racing. Tears were threatening to pour down Heather's cheeks. She tried to hold them back. She crawled back into her covers and cried herself to sleep.

The next morning, Heather woke up to the sound of her parents car pulling out of the driveway. She was hoping that what she heard the night before was a dream, a nightmare. But it was reality. She quickly got dressed and went downstairs trying to avoid Brian, but it was no use. He was in the TV room watching cartoons. He saw her and walked over to her.

"Hey, hun," he said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Don't touch me," she said bitterly, pushing him away.

"Heather? What's going on?" Brian asked.

"Don't pretend like you have no clue what I am talking about, Brian," Heather said angrily, her hands on her hips.

"Have a clue about WHAT?" Brian asked again.

"I heard you on the phone last night with Nick. Brian, I thought you cared about me, but I was wrong." Tears were streaming down her face. She ran outside into the garage and hopped in the car.

"Heather!! Wait!!" Brian screamed as she started the ignition. She ignored him and pulled out of the driveway. She left him standing there, crying in the driveway.
