Chapter 9
"I love you, Brian," Heather whispered into his hair. Brian smiled and kissed her, holding her tighter in his arms. He sighed and rested his head on her chest, taking in all of the events that had just happened a few minutes before. Just one year ago, he was lonely, looking for love and life. He had found love with Heather, and his new life started when Heather said "I Do". Heather meant the world to him, and now that she was carrying his baby made him the happiest man alive.
"So, baby, where do you want to go for the honeymoon?" Heather asked, drawing circles on Brian's back.
"Well, I was thinking," Brian said, rolling off of her and propping himself up on his elbows.
"Thinking about what?"
"Do you want to go to Hawaii before or after the baby is born?" asked Brian.
"After because I'm not allowed to go on a plane when I'm in my third trimester. Wait, did you say Hawaii?" Heather asked.
"You bet I did," Brian said. He bent down so he could kiss her lips.
"We are going back there again? Thank you. It's perfect!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around Brian's neck. She pulled him so now he was on top of her again.
"So you want to go back there?" Brian asked. He smiled.
"I want to relive it all," Heather said before Brian's lips captuted her own in a kiss.

"Nick, put that phone down," Monica warned him. She didn't look up from her magazine. She still knew what Nick was up to.
"Come on, Mon! I haven't talked to my best friend in a week!" Nick pouted, throwing his hands in the air.
"Neither have I, Nick. But they just got married a week ago, they want some privacy," Monica said.
"Yeah, but Brian has to come to the meeting tomorrow," Nick said. He crossed his arms over his chest.
"I know. He knows, also. Nick, you need to get out," Monica joked, eyeing her boyfriend. "I think you have cabin fever!"
"CABIN! Monica, you're a genius!" Nick exclaimed, throwing his arms around Monica's waist.
"What did I do?" Monica asked confused.
"I have, well, one year I rented a cabin up in upstate New York. That would be awesome if we could go!" Nick said, getting excited.
"Nick, when do you plan on going? You guys have been off since Christmas and it's September. You guys are probably going to tour soon," Monica said sadly. She dropped her head to the floor.
"Hey, " Nick said, tilting her face up to his, " we are not going to think about that now. We have our one year anniversary coming soon, and I'm really looking forward to that," Nick said, kissing her sweetly.
"I know," she smiled.

"Good morning, baby," Brian whispered huskily into Heather's ear. She got a chill from the feeling of his breath on her cheek.
"Good morning," she replied, rolling over onto her side so she could face him.
"And good morning to you," Brian said, going under the covers so he could kiss his baby. Heather laughed and Brian gently rolled on top of her and played with her hair.
"You know what I am in the mood for?" Brian whispered, nibbling on her ear.
"What's that?" Heather breathed while Brian's lips moved from her neck to her shoulders.
"A bubblebath," he said, running to the bathroom. Heather laid in bed until she heard the bath water going.

"There!" Heather laughed as she placed a pile of bubbles on top of Brian's head.
"That's not fair!" Brian protested. He slapped a pile of bubbles on Heather's chin and cheeks.
"Brian!!" Heather shrieked. They threw bubbles at each other, leaving the room in a state of bubbles.
"Come here, you." Brian said, pulling Heather onto his lap so she was straddling his hips.
"I love you," she said between kisses.
"I love you more."

Ring! Ring!
"Bri, I think you should get that," Heather advised.
"We'll let the machine get it." He said. He continued kissing her.
"Brian, our machine isn't hooked up yet," she laughed. He looked at her one more time before giving in to those eyes that he had fallen in love with. He sighed. He crawled out of the tub and carefully made his way back into his bedroom, trying not to slip on the bubbles that laid on the floor.
"Cute butt!" Heather called. She laughed.
"I know!" he called back. "Hello?" he asked when he picked up the phone.
"Hey, B! It's Nick!" he said enthusiastically.
"Nick! I told you not to call him!" Brian heard Monica screech in the background. He laughed.
"Anyway," Nick continued, acting as if she had said nothing. "How've you been?" he asked.
"Couldn't be better," Brian said, smiling. He wrapped an arm around Heather's waist as she stood next to him.
"You coming to that meeting tomorrow, right?"
"Oh, man! I completely forgot!" Brian exclaimed. "But I'll be there."
"Well, I was thinking...." Nick began.
"Oh no. You??! Thinking?!?" Brian joked.
"Shut up. You remember that cabin I rented in New York a couple of years ago?"
"Yeah! That was awesome!"
"I know, wasn't it? Anyway, I kinda was wondering if you would want to go back there for like, a week or two."
"Oh yeah! That'd be awesome!"
"And Monica and Heather are gonna love it also!" Nick said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You sure you want to come? This meeting will be really boring," Brian warned Heather as they drove to the meeting.
"Yeah, I'm sure! I want to see Monica, also."
"Oh, cool. Nick said he wants us to go to his cabin soon. Are you interested?" Brian asked.
"You bet! It sounds like fun."
"The baby will be ok?" Brian asked.
"Yup, we're fine," Heather smiled, rubbing her stomach. Brian pulled into Trans Continental Records and wasn't surprised to see Nick, AJ and Howie already there.
"Kevin's late again?" Heather asked.
"As usual," Brian laughed. He parked the car and got out and ran over towards Heather so he could help her onto the pavement.
"Look at the newlyweds!" they heard AJ call from inside as he walked out to greet them. Brian smiled and squeezed Heather's hand.
"Hey, Bone." He reached in and gave him a friendly hug.
"How you doing, girl?" he asked. She smiled and hugged him. She pulled back as Nick and Monica walked out of the building.
"Heather!" Monica called. She ran over to her and hugged her. "We have sooo much to talk about!" Monica rambled.
"Yes, we do." Heather agreed. She glanced over at Brian, who was busy getting reacquainted with Nick.
"They look like long lost friends!" Heather joked. Monica took a look.
"Oh, you should have seen Nick all week! He moped around all week like a dog that lost his owner!" Monica cracked. The two girls laughed as Nick and Brian walked over to them.
"What's so funny, ladies?" Brian asked, wrapping an arm around Heather's waist.
"Nothing, sweetie." Heather replied, kissing Brian a big kiss.
"Guys, I think it's time you go inside," Monica said, pointing towards the door which AJ, Howie and Kevin had just walked into.
"OK. Are you guys staying here or what?" Nick asked.
"Heather and I are going to go shopping. We'll be back a little later, ok?" Monica told them. Nick nodded.
"I love you," Brian said, pulling Heather close to him.
"And I love you," Heather replied. She gave him a long kiss on the lips.
"Brian, I'll return her safe. I promise," Monica said, breaking the two of them apart.
"You better!" Brian warned her with a smile on his face. He kissed Heather again. "See ya."
