Chapter 8
"As the best man, I would like to propose a toast," Nick said, gently tapping his glass. He stood next to Brian and Brian had his hand enclosed with Heather's.
"Well, Bri. We have known each other for like, six years and I always thought that you would be the first one to settle down, and for the first time in my life, I was actually right!" Nick said with the audience's laughter.
"Well, now I see that you are with a wonderful woman, and I wish the both of you the best of luck. And with a baby on the way, you guys will make great parents.
"B-Rok, I love ya. You were always the big brother I never had. And to Heather, you better treat him right or else. But, I still love you," Nick said, grinning from ear to ear. "But no matter what anybody says, there is no sex in the champagne room," Nick said, causing the room to erupt in laughter. He reached over and gave both Brian and Heather hugs, showing his happiness towards the two of them. Then he suddenly felt a hand on his elbow.
"Well, I don't think that my speech can beat my boyfriend Nick's speech, but I do know that today is the day that Heather has dreamed of since she was a little girl. I've known her for practically all my life. What can I say? I love my best friend. Brian, I don't know what it is, but you have something inside of you that no man could possibly have, and I'm happy that Heather was the lucky girl to experience it. I love you both," she said and hugged them with tears in her eyes.
"Well," Kevin began, "we know that you guys don't have a wedding song, but we have a song that we think may be right. It's a song that ties your lives together for all eternity," Kevin finished. He smiled. Brian smiled at his 'brothers' and took Heather's hand and led them onto the dance floor. A few moments later, Shania Twain's "From This Moment On" filled the speakers and the newlyweds wrapped their arms around each other.
From this moment
Life has begun
From this moment
You are the one......
Heather closed her eyes and snuggled into Brian's embrace. This was the perfect song.
"From this moment, I have been blessed. I wish only for your happiness. And for your love, I give my last breath. From this moment on," Brian sang softly into her ear.
"Brian, I love you," Heather whispered.
"Oh, I love you too. I was afraid you'd get cold feet on me," Brian whispered. Heather shook her head.
"Brian, I am soo happy. This is the best day of my life," Heather said, and kissed her husband for a long kiss. The music faded and everyone clapped. Heather couldn't help but smile.

"Ready?? Go!!!!!!" Heather called from the balcony. Her and Brian stood at the top of the stairs and watched as a flood of women and girls scramble for the bouquet.
"I GOT IT!!!" one woman screamed. Heather glanced at Monica, who was staring at the woman with an evil glare in her eye. If looks could kill........ Heather laughed at Monica's jealousy.
"Looks like Monica really wanted those flowers," Brian said with a laugh. Heather agreed and Brian took her hand and led her to the door.
"Congratulations!" everyone screamed.
"Congratulations, Heather. Take your time, but DON'T forget to call me!" Monica joked and she hugged her now married best friend.
"Oh, I wont. Goodbye, Nick," Heather said and hugged him before her and Brian jumped into the limo.

Heather laughed as Brian took her hand and picked her up, carrying her upon threshold. Brian opened the door and waited for Heather's reaction.
"Brian! You did this?" Heather asked. She was astonished that their furniture was all in place and the house was looking beautiful.
"Yeah. I did it yesterday with Nick. You like it?" Brian asked.
"I love it!" Heather exclaimed. She kissed him. At first, the kiss started out like a sweet, loving kiss, then it turned more passionate. Her fingers played with the curls at the back of Brian's neck as he carried her upstairs to their bedroom. He laid her down gently on the bed in their new room. Brian stopped abruptly and gazed down at the living beauty that lay beneath him. He stood up and reached for Heather's hand, pulling her up so she was facing him. He reached behind her and slowly unzipped the back of her dress, never once leaving her gaze. He watched it cascade to the floor, lying there in a heap at her ankles. He picked her up so she stepped out of it, and gently placed her back on the bed. He slipped one strap from her slip off her shoulder, and kissed the swaths of skin that lay beneath her slip.
"Brian..." she whispered as they fell backwards onto the bed.
"I love you so much," Brian whispered huskily, as their bodies molded together as one. They kissed passionetly, their hands caressing every inch of each other's body.
"Heather, wait." Brian said, stopping.
"What? What is it?" she asked. She breathed heavy and ran her fingernails up and down Brian's back, making it hard for him to concentrate.
"The baby."
"What about the baby?" Heather asked.
"You know...."Brian said. He looked down at their naked bodies.
"Honey, don't worry. The doctor said that we could have sex up until my 8th month." She said. Brian smiled and kissed his wife. They spent the rest of the night making passionate love for hours.
