It's just two days untill Lightning, a night that brings two former IWF superstars back to the IWF Ring, One, Marco, who has gone back and forth between IWF and ECWL, and the other, Mr Rich. Both, will make their return, and both will begin a new chapter in their careers here in the IWF. Marco has all ready stated that he wants to achieve more than just Rising Star status, and Mr Rich has all ready made his goals well known. To be the nnext IWF World Champion, and to be the next IWF Icon Champion. Unlike Marco, Mr Rich's first match back is a non title match with IWF WORLD CHAMPION, Chazz Mendel, a superstar who has built quite a name for himself. He has even been considered for the IWF Hall of Fame, an honor that any IWF Superstar would like to achieve one day, but only few actually do. And one day, when his career is officially over, Mr Rich will be the first true "Legend" voted in the IWF Hall of Fame!!!!!!!
(The scene opens up at an undisclosed location, it is just Mr Rich and a camera.)
Mr Rich:We are just days away from the greatest Lightning ever in the IWF, the one show that you might want to go and wake up your grandmother for, because this one, this one is going down in the books. Marco and myself are returning tonight, and I can't speak for Marco, but I am damn excited about coming back to the company that I once dominated. And think about it, my first match back, and I get to face the IWF World Champion, Charles Mendel. You can't ask for a better situation than the one I am in now. I get to start my comeback right where I left off, rewriting the pages of the IWF History books, redefining what and IWF Superstar should be, hell, I said it once before and I will say it again, I am no superstar, I am a Mega Star.....
.....Now, I have heard the very harsh words that Mr Mendel has had to say about me and you can believe that it comes from the fact that he is jealous of me, and why not, My appearence alone at May Massacre sparked a ratings rise for Lightning. And Mendel has the audacity to come out and say that I am not the Legend I say I am......I don't know if you know this Mendel, but I am a two time member of the ICON's, I ran with the best of them, I beat the best. There are men in the hall of fame that your low class a$$ would never be able to compete with and I did, and I beat them. The HHH's, the Austin's, The Rock's, The Pure Hell's, The Miss Phoenix's, The Rage's and the Powerhouse's, all of them had seen the wraith of the Dow jones and the Bad Investment, and son, your just another name.....You think this is your era. Well Mendel, lets look at this logically, there was first, the ICON era also could be known as the HHH era. This was the time that the ICONS ran this show and HHH was winning titles left and right. But that era soon ended when the second era started, the era which I call ICON Melt Down, or the Rage and Powerhouse Era, this was the era in which Rage and Powerhouse dominated, and they were the guys to beat, belts going back and forth.....but that era finally died the day John Daniels decided to throw in the towel and thus, a new era began, and it wasn't the Charles Mendel Era, or the Jason Drake era, na, this is the era of the Comeback Kids, the era of Mr Rich, and dare I say, Marco......where the only two guys that know the true essence of the importance of being in the IWF........
.....You know something Mendel, you may think that you are the god of all wrestling, but maybe you didn't notice me without my sandels......I've been kicking a$$ and braking bones back when the Montreal Expos actually attracted a crowd...I don't care who you think you are and what you think you can do, the fact is, I am better than you, I am classier than you, and hell, I even look better than you. You are nothing but a low class loser who wishes nothing but to deny my legendary status....who is he to deny anything.....did he ever beat HHH, did he ever beat Miss Phoenix....I may not have been an IWF World Champion, but I did wear some gold around here, 3 Rising Star Titles, 2 suicidal Titles, 2 tag team titles, and hell, even won the IWF Woman's World Title, so yeah, I guess maybe I was a World Champion.....
....and Charles, I thought that was your name, I thought you were like that dude in Charles in Charge, whats his name, Scott Baio. I remember an episode when Charles had an evil personality named Chazz, I thought you were just like him....I mean to denounce a true legend like myself has to come from a source of evil.....
....So Mendel, tell me, and be honest, how do you sleep at night knowing that on sunday, you will be a Joke of a World Champion, because when I kick your low class a$$, everyone know that your just a waste of a champion who doesn't deserve that title, you won the belt in a four way match where two of the opponents didn't even have their hear in the match....yeah, your one tough guy.....but don't worry Mendel, after I kick your a$$, you will still have the title, and I, I will move on to bigger things, one that doesn't involve a punk like you......hell, your a waste of time, and your a waste of a Canadian......I could probably go on about what a stupid little man you are, but I can't, my favorite Canadian show is on, You Can't Do That On Television, and I just bought the rights to the show, so I am going to watch it.......So Mendell, untill Lightning, enjoy your time, because come monday, you will be a champion without honor.......
