The next 5 photographs show the site of the school as it is now (taken around October 2001).  An old listed building demolished for houses - makes you think ???  This photo taken from Townsend Lane.  Behind the wall would have been the cricket nets.
Left:-Looking down Wellington Road.  This wall is the original one we used to jump off and leg it back into the playground for a dare. Right:-Even the school's rear wall has been left in place
The bottom end of the school, with the original wall and openings left in place, now providing driveways to houses.
During my visit to take these photographs, I became quite emotional at the destruction of the school, but this sight possible upset me the most.  The faded and partially removed yellow zig-zag markings - the only reminder left that a school ever existed here.
