(Thats insane) Mouse&Keyboard Metalic Sakar Keyboard- $15 Metalic Sakar Mouse - $7 Total: $122 Windows XP Pro Upgrade- $200 NOTE - This requires an older version of Windows, and can only be used on one computer. While George dislikes Windows XP, I like it except for the fact that it can only be on one computer. I, personally, use the version of Windows 98 SE I got with my Dell in 1998 and use that CD Key over and over again to put on my new computers for free. Saves $200. Total = $200 GRAND TOTAL= $547 ($747 With Windows XP) Editors comment: This is a very good, strong, stable computer, even in todays enviorment. I, personally, still like the Celerons over Pentium 3s in most cases. This really is not much slower then the fastest computer, especially if you put it together right. You can copy CD's, watch DVDs, play any computer game out there today, and this is easily upgraded. If you wish to upgrade, upgrade it. This is just my suggestion for a cost efficient good all around system. You can go even cheaper if you wish. I just did not want to cut any edges. You, of course, can. |
