Welcome to Seasons of Discontent

OK, this is where I dump all the stuff I've written
Writing is a release for me. It lets me vent my frustration and take out all my anger on paper, rather than walking around slugging random people. I don't like the idea of jail, and I'm not always able to run down to the basement and take it out on my punching bag, so sometimes I just pick up the pen and unleash the fury there.
You may think I'm crazy, you may think I'm brilliant, you may think I'm a great guy, you may think I'm an asshole, none of that matters to me. I want it to move you in some way, positive or negative, so that no matter what the outcome you leave with a renewed feeling of anger, release, sorrow, happiness, etc...
Either way I hope you get something out of coming here and reading this stuff.
Anyway, enjoy...

(My writing)

If you want to know a little more about me, check this page out.

If you like this stuff, my book, Blank Stare at a Clean Slate is available through this site or if you happen to catch me in person & I happen to be carrying copies around. If you would like a copy, get in touch with me here.

Speaking of which, I have my own publishing company for writers like myself looking to get their message out there. It's totally DIY and run right out of my house. All submissions to KnifeStreet Publications are welcome and will most definitely be taken seriously. If you want to publish a book similar to mine and don't have the time, ambition, resources or whatever to get it done, we'll do it for you. Check out some details here.

Other than Blank Stare at a Clean Slate, I have two new books coming out really soon:
101 Ways to Start a Fight and
Drive By Shooting

and so far, KnifeStreet has 4 writers other than myself...
Kelly Spooner - Jerk in the Box (out now!)
George Pacheco - One Way Street (out now!)
Pam Garnett - Gashes to Ashes (out now!)
Dave McDonough - Terror Carved in Crimson (coming soon!)
Jon Helme - TBA (coming soon!)

So if you dig this site, you should check out all these books. That artists are all amazing and it's totally worth reading their stuff. KnifeStreet plans on printing up sampler books containing work by all of the writers, so keep an eye out for that too.

I have to sell the books for $6.00 each because it's not free to print them. I pay about $5-7 each to get them printed bound & all, so I don't make anything off of them, just enough to make more. I realized that the money doesn't matter, it's the message. Each book sold helps to fund the next pressing, and to bring you more writers like myself. By all means, the charity for these starving artists will be welcome and well spent whipping up another batch of angst and frustration.

If you want to let me know what you think, or want to touch base & talk, or if you want to point out that I can't type for shit and let me know where all my spelling mistakes are (I would actually appreciate that!) feel free to drop me a line any old time at KnifeStreet@aol.com
