D'ni Math

(An explaination of the D'ni numbering system)

The first thing you should know is, of course, the first five digits: the digits 0,1,2,3,4. To acheive five through nine, you simply rotate 1 ninety degrees and write the numbers over again like so:Ten is simply a rotated two, fifteen a three, and so on. The numbers zero to twenty-four go like this:
Twenty-five can be written as (25) (which would be like us saying "60 seconds" instead of "one minute") or (1)(0) . Because where our math says (1)(0)=10 (1*10+0*1=10) D'ni math says (1)(0)=25 (1*25+0*1=25). So (1)(3)(2)=132 to us, but 702 to D'ni (1*625+3*25+2*1=702). Understand? Good...

NOTE:I did not write this next part you see and am not saying I did. It was written by Dr. Richard Watson of Cyan Worlds. I changed a few parts to make it more suiting for this context.

As far as the names of the numbers go: after that, as the actual digits are just combinations of the first four, so are the names: Over 24 the numbers repeat with a new suffix: Other released numbers are:
