SAMPLE # 1


Below you will see a detailed, customized Excel Template that I completed for dj Orthopedics, a manufacturer of orthopedic soft goods and durable medical equipment.

This template is utilized as a report that shows information pertaining to Insurance Contracts. The main purpose of this project was for quick printing and to e-mail to sales representatives located all over the U.S.

The bottom portion will show you how the report looks when it is all complete. Some of the steps required to prepare the report are as follows:
  • First, a query is ran from an Access database and the data is pasted into the template
  • The second step is to run a macro to automatically format and resize all the cells so that all the data fits on each cell
  • Next, the Page Break Preview is adjusted to ensure the report is print ready
  • The name of the report is then typed at the top of the report
  • Finally, the report can be printed if needed, or e-mailed to sales representatives



    • Time required to complete this template: 3-4 hours (includes testing time)


    SAMPLE # 2

    The following sample will demonstrate 2 of approximately 60 Excel Worksheets that I customized and utilized as templates for Acushnet Golf, a leader in the golf industry. The purpose of these templates was to provide final golf club test result statistics.
    These templates consisted of the following:
  • Customized to fit data ran from Access queries
  • Conditional Formatting to ensure 100% data accuracy
  • Preformatting for quick printing
  • Hyperlinks for quick navigation in Worksheets and Workbooks
  • Inserted Comments utilized as reminders
  • Utilized a wide variety of formulas such as STATISTICAL, LOGICAL, DATABASE, and LOOKUP & REFERENCE
  • Trace Dependents and Precedents to ensure the correct cells are being referenced in formulas





    • Time required to complete more than 60 worksheets: 10 working days (includes time utilized to test data results)



    SAMPLE # 3


    The sample below is another Excel template utilized to demonstrate how a certain golf club performed in different categories. The data on the charts would reflect the final results from the Template on SAMPLE #2 above.
