Click with the left button of the mouse after the chosen letter, then type in a new one.
Backspace and delete the old letter.

Highlight a letter and change the font, the size or the colour with the Format control.
Click on a cell and change the colour with the Table control using the Cell Properties command.
Try the other Table controls. Close without saving to retain the original design.
