Learning Advice

To organize this web quest to help out with teaching, the teacher might want to print out a list of the questions for the students to just fill in their answers. The teacher also needs to know that she is going to have to help the students individually with this activity. Materials for coloring as well as printing out numerous pages needs to be available for the students. Some other type of activity could be used during the web quest to keep other students interested. For example bringing in books of owls for the other students to look at.

Conclusion

With this activity it requires students to expand their horizons and learn more about owls that they may not have known. Also with including the vocabulary they learn new words that they might not have known before. Not only are they working with the web quest but if books are brought in they are able to get a flavor of different ways of learning depending on what the student likes to do. Sharing the activity gives them a chance to stand up in front of the class and share their ideas giving the teacher the chance to see what they have learned in all.
