Opinion: A show of great historical significance with the debut of Hall and the beginning of the great N.W.O. angle that would be featured in WCW for the next few years. Decent action with good storyline development on the rest of the show.
WCW Nitro 6/3/96

--Sting confronts Scott Hall and challenges him to a singles match. Hall says he will fight who he wants, when he wants and promises a "big surprise" next week.
Opinion: Pretty good show. The slow, effective build towards the N.W.O. continues. The Horsemen vs. The R&R Express was a fun trip down memory lane. There is some good buildup for the classic Sullivan vs. Benoit feud as well as a well done teased heel turn by Luger in the strained friendship between Luger/Sting and The Steiners.

--Kevin Nash returns to WCW and joins Scott Hall in his war against WCW. Eric Bischoff reluctantly invites them to The Great American Bash to see if he could get them a fight.
Opinion: Great angle at the end of the show. Nash was very effective when he gave serious promos. Some pretty good matches, but WCW was really over-doing the interference during main event matches at this time. More good buildup towards Sullivan vs. Benoit, including the footage of the infamous Brian Pillman "shoot" against Sullivan.

--Gene Okerlund announces that the 3 men that will meet Scott Hall/Kevin Nash & the mystery 3rd man would be Sting/Lex Luger/Randy Savage.
--Tape cuts off a little early - nothing much missed except a little commentary.
Opinion: Good show despite absence of Hall & Nash. Flair vs. Savage was a good, fun match which includes Steve McMichael's first actions on Nitro as a Horsemen. Although not their best match, Rey vs. Malenko was very good.
