Honorary consuls do not handle, or answer questions relating to, visa or passport applications.
Effective June 26, 2009, The Consulate of New Orleans, will no longer be able to process passport or visa applications.
In anticipation of the introduction of fingerprints in passports and due to renewal of equipment, starting June 28, 2009 in the United States it will only be possible to apply for a passport at the Netherlands Embassy in Washington DC, the Consulates-General in New York, Miami, Chicago and Los Angeles and the HC’s which will receive biometric equipment: Atlanta, Boston, Houston, Orlando and San Francisco.
