Colours will fade from time to time in a wave-like manner. In addition, a colour scheme will be developed for each film sequence.
Sound will be loud and of high contrast, except for scenes calling for a quiet note.
Music will be modern and driving. It will be closely related to the movie, and it will emphasize its emotional nature.
Editing will be fast paced, even harsh, balanced by long fading overlays and montage.
Casting will be accurate and costly. Since many roles are to be played by teenagers or young children, they will need to be casted and trained months before the shooting. The training will include a physical side and an emotional one, expanding the range of both.
Make-Up will emphasize the actors' natural features. Big noses will seem bigger. Extra pimples. Deeper facial lines. The characters begin to show more and more beauty as the film progresses, to indicate the more we know and love someone, the more beautiful they become.
Costumes will be old and worn, the sort of clothing the poor had to resort to, towards the end of the war.
The Art Direction will be plain and simple. The furnishings and requisites will be limited to the bare essentials.
