Q. WHAT WAS THE TIMEWARP SITE ALL ABOUT ANYWAY?

The 1980's Timewarp site is dedicated to a time when it was still possible to travel all over the British Railway network
on traditional locomotive hauled passenger trains behind a wide variety of real locomotives.
The site features a database which currently contains well over a quarter of a million BR loco hauled passenger workings
covering the years 1975-1989, but with the emphasis focused on the 1980's.
There should be something of interest here for all UK Rail enthusiasts of that era
be you Trainspotter, Photographer , Haulage Basher or Railway Modeller?
All loco classes feature without bias as to our own personal preferences...
Gen traceable back to contributors... many workings are confirmed by multiple observers at different points en-route...
