2007 ADRA Points Series Championship
The 2007 ADRA
Points Series Championship will consist of an eight race point series to be
completed at four race facilities during the summer of 2007. The dates and
locations of the races are as follows:
June 2& 3 – Miramichi Dragway, Miramichi, NB
June 16 & 17 –
Greenfield Dragway, Queen’s County, NS
July 28 & 29 – Cape Breton Dragway,
Sydney, NS
Aug 11 & 12 – Raceway Park, Oyster Bed
Bridge, PEI
Aug 25 & 26 – Cape Breton Dragway,
Sydney, NS
Sept 22 & 23 – Greenfield Dragway,
Queen’s County, NS
Only current/paid members of the ADRA will be eligible to collect points
and qualify for ADRA payouts and awards. You must be a current member prior to
the start of the eliminations to qualify for points and/or awards at that race.
The points will be accumulated based on the number of rounds won during the
series. In an effort to encourage participation at all tracks, points will be
counted using the best 5 results thru the series, if the racer competes at all
4 of the participating race tracks, at least once. Participation at only 3 or
less tracks will mean counting points using only their best 4 results.
Points will be awarded as follows: 20 points for attendance at an ADRA race, 10
points per round won during class eliminations and 11 points for a class
winner.
RAINOUTS will NOT be rescheduled. 20 points will be awarded to all paid
members who are registered for the “rained out” event. We
will award points for the rounds completed at an ADRA Race Date, but we will
not continue any race, on a rescheduled date, this applies only to completed
class rounds.
Series year-end awards will also be awarded at the AGM based on the
final results of the point’s standings.
