orientation
just got back from my first day.. i went in all black pantsied out, thinking i was gonna work work.. waitress.. but i was kind of misinformed..
first of all, the lady, whom i used to work for for a short period of time a while back before i quit, somehow forgot i was coming in (how do you forget this adorable face..? kiddin'). it was two weeks ago and before her vacation.. so i guess thats how she forgot. anyhow.. she had me fill out all these forms and read this handbook (deja vou), wish they would have just saved the ones i filled out three years ago..
after all the forms, with the exception of the mother freakin' confusin p.o.s. tax forms (if you are not
married or wish you were not married put a one in the blank, unless you are having an affair, place a zero in the box. if the affair is with two or more people, place the number of people minus the number of boyfriends you've had in the last year.. (slight exageration, but hey, close enough)). so yeah.. i took that one as homework. but as i was typin' - after all the forms i got to study the menu. now people.. don't underestimate the amount of information you can learn from a menu.. very interesting too (sarcasm). the menu was pretty much a stallin' tool.. since she had to cook since the cook didn't show.. until i was leaving.. hehe..
i got all preppied up too.. i wanted to make a decent impression.. as impressions are said to be one of the keys to success and all. but when i left i realized that aunt sarah's was ran by a bunch of freaky type people.. so i guess i can go back to bein' my ol' punkie-skater type self tomorrow.. when i left.. after talking to her for about a minute and a half total.. she told me to come in tommorrow at five.. i guess to complete the orientation process or somefin'.. and maybe.. if im lucky, work a bit too.
all in all.. i noticed too things.. the place is pretty slack.. and full off unpreppie people.. me, being the punky slaker i am, should fit in just fine..
