We held the annual APA's costumed brunch event, as part of
Earth Religions awareness month, this year a day early as
Samhain fell on the weekend. We had several lovely ladies
attend in lovely costumes, and of course we had a million
laughs.
We attempted to plan a Nov. lunch but with the holiday
stresses upon us all we have canceled both Nov. and Dec.
dates and will restart the APA's ladies lunch out dates
in Jan. twenty-ten.
The APA chat list continues to be silent or nearly so, sadly,
but you can only herd cats so far.
------------------Quotes to ponder (on traveling.)----------------
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the
things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So
throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
-- Mark Twain
Without travel "I would have wound up a little ignorant
white Southern female, which was not my idea of a good life."
-- Lauren Hutton
"When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all
your money. Then take half the clothes and twice the money."
-- Susan Heller
"There is no happiness for the man who does not travel. Therefore wander!"
- The Rig Veda
“Airplane travel is Nature’s way of making you look like
your passport photo.”
-- Vice President Al Gore
“Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing."
--Helen Keller
“Half the fun of travel is the esthetic of lostness.”
--Ray Bradbury
