GOTHENBURG. Itīs a shame that I have to be so shy.
If I wasnīt even I had stood up and screamed:
Iiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!
This time the Backstreet Boys are doing a magnificent show.
No, itīs not a joke.
Old man rock critic really wanted to sing along with the 13 000 hysterical little girls.
`Cause the stage act I saw...yeah, that was along time ago. Itīs like a mix up of a moon landing, Sigfried & Roy in Las Vegas & a Pink Floyd-concert.
Itīs not enough that the americans has placed the stage - a totally round, hightechnology thing - in the middle of the arena, so that everyone can see and hear perfectly. They have loads of effects so even Micheal Jackson would be impressed.
Just at the beginnig of the show BSB comes flying trought the air (!) on boards.
After that we see them dissapear trought the stage floor, throw themselfs in ropes over the audience, hang upside down in strange climbings things! And play on a grand piano, that also comes from the air.
Put on that a little bit of fire, som explosions, a fire work, a dazzling ligthening show and a row of fantastic choreography - and excellent dance numbers.
You understand, of course.
I mean, Backstreet Boys have the worlds most devoted fans and the would of course do a sucess with a cheap standardshow, but have done something extra for their fans.
The Spice Girls have alot to learn.
