In the amazingly superb issue of PP:SM 22, Peter Parker was down in the dumps because he had a bad writer... and poorly written friends. After getting rippedon by Liz Osborn, Pete found the Goblin attacking people for no reason in a building. Peter donned a canvas-tarp type thing and tied a rope around his neck. He fought the Goblin for a few panels and it turned out that it was a cheap imitation of the Greenie. What a waste.
