Darren: I went for a learning experience.
TVH: Did you see many famous folk in NY?
Darren: I lived in a neighbourhood were Madonna and Mariah Carey were just down the road.
TVH: What did you do while you were there?
Darren: I bought a CD every day and I ate at a different restaurant every day.
TVH: What did you miss most about Australia?
Darren: I missed politeness and sense of humour. I never liked vegemite, so that was easy!

Darren: Telepathy and the ability to fly!
TVH: We heard you paid $500,000 for a Star Wars figure, is that true?
Darren: That's rubbish! The most I've paid is $60. But I do have one that's worth $500.
TVH: What's been your biggest extravagance?
Darren: A mirror for my house which cost $3000!
