Appearances Include: Fly-By-Night Club, Humpy's, Sitzmark, The Whaler, Peanut Farm, Alaska State Fair, Talkeetna Bluegrass & More!

Gary Lamar (City Kids, Magic), Tom Lambert (Last Resort), Eric Baldwin (Joystick, Fast Taxi) and Alison King (First Trax, Bagladies) join versatile vocalist Monica Lettner in forming this premier party and dance ensemble. If good times and good music are what you're craving, you owe it to yourself to put Killer Rabbit on the menu!

Formed in 1997, Killer Rabbit has been burrowing its way into the hearts of audiences through an eclectic array of classic rock standards, blues originals, contemporary diva show-pieces and world-beat surprises. The diversity of the Rabbit's song list is reflected by a long list of artists: Jimi, Bonnie, Van, the Dan, Pretenders, Sheryl, Stevie Ray, Carlos, Lynyrd, ZZ, Feat, Gladys, Aretha, Concrete Blonde, Gabriel, Jesus Jones, Beatles, Tosh and more.

Monica Lettner, the newest and youngest of the bunnies, joined the band in the spring of 2000 and has been turning heads and delighting ears ever since. A native of Wisconsin with years of classic vocal training and experience, "Monica Rabbit" hopped on the opportunity to showcase her talent by fronting a veteran rock ‘n' roll group.

Alison "Gypsy" King came north from the Bay Area in the early ‘80s and has been anchoring on her bass some of Anchorage's most popular bands for the past decade. An artist of many talents with performance skills on a variety of instruments, Alison's contribution to the Rabbit's groove and energy is not limited to the original tunes she provides.

Texas-born guitar slinger Gary Lamar follows in the footsteps of many renowned Blues and Rock six-stringers. But his appetite for diversity and challenge knows few bounds, and the ease and prowess with which he shifts between musical styles and moods is nothing short of a marvel. It's believed his touch has been charmed by contact with Hendrix's Flying "V."

Unfortunately, little verifiable history is available regarding keyboardist Tom Lambert. Some legends claim he was born in the high California desert and spent his infancy in a lion's den. Rumors of appearances with the likes of Albert King and Jimmy Witherspoon persist, but constraints of the Federal Witness Protection Program forbid details.

Likewise, a background check of co-founding member and percussionist, Eric Baldwin, reveals little of interest to any but the most sordidly curious. A classically trained musician, Eric has toured with The Coasters and studied under Aaron Copeland. With all due humility, he currently boasts of being one of the ten best one-handed drummers in Spenard.

Killer Rabbit is clearly not your run-of-the-hutch band. It prides itself on having fun and providing fun -- on zigging when you anticipate zagging, and gleefully eluding attempts to be caged by expectation or convention. If you're ready for something out of the ordinary, then please call upon the bunny.
