11.25.01 - Daze would like to say that the world has been devastated by the loss of one of the greatest writers of all-time - George Harrison. He was the BEST beatle and he will be missed. Our prayers are with him.
8.09.01 - Daze is waiting to record the MISTAKE album in the best quality possible. That'll be out in late 2001 or early 2002. Also, a new demo with some tracks from the IN DUE TIME album and the MISTAKE album and one new song that'll be a b-side to one of the singles from MISTAKE will be on there. It'll be titled "Does It Matter That The "d" Is The Smallest?" and will be out this fall.
7.22.01 - After a long two months of recording and touring, the band has decided to take a break from recording and each other for a couple days. Due to the lack of sleep over the past five days, the guys are very grumpy and tired. The MISTAKE album, unlike rumors, is not being terminated, just post-poned. The band will resume recording this Thursday and try to finish the last three tracks. "Blame" is being taken off the track list. And, it will not be replaced. It may pop up on a couple albums as a hidden track, but not for sure. In late August, when school is back in session, DAZE will be spending their time every weekend to re-record the IN DUE TIME album. "WEB", the first single from that album is already done and will be featured as the b-side on MISTAKE's second single, "Times Are Changing." IN DUE TIME is due out this fall/winter.
7.14.01 - MISTAKE will not be released on Saturday, July 21, 2001 due to it not being completed yet. It will be released sometime in August at the beginning of the school year. This Saturday though Daze will be playing still at Mote Park from 8:30 pm - 11 pm. Sorry for the inconvience - hope to see you there.

6.06.01 - You heard right, MISTAKE will be out on July 21, 2001. DAZE is still recording the songs, they have 8 out of the 19 completed. The record release party is July 21, 2001 - DUH! It's only $1, and both albums will be on sale for $5. It's at Mote Park in Piqua from 8 pm - 11 pm. We hope you can make it!!!
5.30.01 - MISTAKE will be out sometime in late June. For the next two weeks, DAZE will be in the studio recording the remaining songs. The record release party will mostly likely be either June 22, or June 23. Keep coming back for updates.

4.20.01 - Alright, sorry about the lack of updates. We've been busy recording our new album. Daze is corrently in the studio and writing. The set lists are made up for the April 28th show. If you know how to play guitar, drums, or bass, we'll probably bring you up on stage. So, be ready.

2.25.01 - The track "Stay With Me" is going to be replaced by a new song, "This Is Real." It's a fast, upbeat song that you can mosh to.
2.22.01 - The track "Intermission" on the upcoming Mistake album will be cut out from the song list. There will still be 19 songs because Daze is replacing it with a new song called "Online." It's a brand new song Scott wrote yesterday. He thinks it will be good. It has a swing beat and reminds people of Green Day's "Minority." Daze hopes you enjoy the changes.
2.17.01 - The March 17th gig has been cancelled... FOR GOOD! The April 28th gig is still on, pending if the new album is completed in time. If it's not, then it will just simply be rescheduled, this way it will a record release party. The album will be on sale for $5. The party will be $3 to get in. Sorry, but we have to charge in order to pay for everything.
2.14.01 - Happy Valentine's Day! Daze will no longer be playing on the 17th. The date has been moved to April 28, 2001. As it turns out, Mote Park had already been booked, and Daze got screwed over. But, the party might still go on. Daze may book the KofC in Piqua for St. Patrick's Day. Tell the band your thoughts on this. It has a stage and you can get drinks and chips. What more can you ask for? The April 28 gig, will be at Mote Park. It has a stage and the food and drinks are free. Daze will be playing three sets that night. The first will be just covers, the second will be just Daze, and the third will be just Green Day. Come back for more updates.
2.01.01 - Daze is hoping to play on St. Patrick's Day which is Saturday, the 17th. They are not definate yet, but they hope they can. For the show, there will be no seats in the room with the stage. Standing room only. Mosh pits and stage diving are encouraged. Everyone is welcome to come.
1.28.01 - Daze will be playing in March sometime. The date has not been released yet, but will be soon. It will be at Mote Park.
1.19.01- Daze has changed the song's titled "When I am Gone" to "I Can't Move On". That is all.
1.14.01- Daze has released a statement to the Associated Press today saying the folling:
Daze's new album will be a double disc. Disc One will be the 19 songs that they said would be on there (go to the Mistake link for more info). Disc Two will be 7 skits including titles like "Staley's Gay Pt. 1" and "Staley's Gay Pt. 2". Scott Henthorn has invited many of the band's friends to have guest appearances on the second disc. Names include: Mike Liddy, Andy Malarkey, Mike Dunson, Mark "HOG" Allen, Troy Kohlhorst, and many more. Daze hopes you enjoy the 19 songs and the bonus disc.

1.09.01- There is a close race between "My Angel" (thanks to Marc Palmer) and "Intermission" (thanks to Mark Allen) on the Montly Poll. Vote and make a difference.
1.08.01- Daze gets sued for using same chord progression as the Backstreet Boys on their song "I Want It That Way"
Daze released "Can't Help" on their album "In Due Time". "It is the same chord progression as BSB's song," says Scott Henthorn,"But we wrote it before that song ever came out. We have proof. In the 8th grade talent show, we played our song. That song came out later that year. We played our song way before "I Want It That Way" was released in any shape or form."
The band is being sued for $95,000 in royalties. Scott and the rest of the boys are pissed.
