The Perfect Fan

Chapter Thirteen

"Oh man there's school tomorrow.." Nick laughed and rubbed my shoulders while we sat on the floor of Brian's living room.

"Think of it this way, you only have five more days until Saturday." Just then Brian started screaming, "Guys look! Look!" Nick and I, turned our attention to Brian and his dog who was lying on the floor rocking from side to side.

"Look! He's almost rolling over!" Nick rolled his eyes, "Brian we need to find you a girl." Brian pulled me over to him, "I already have a girl what are you talking about?"

I smiled and gave Brian a small kiss on the cheek, Nick frowned, "Nuh uh, that's my girl!" he pulled at my arm, "Guys!" both of them laughed, and I sat there listening to the two of them arguing. It went from their "pretend fight" over me, to a baseball game that was on last night.

I sat down near Brian's dog, "Roll over, C'mon roll over little guy," the dog rolled over. "Good boy." I scratched between his ears. "Would you look at that," Brian sat down next to me.

"Roll over," the dog rocked his back.

I smiled, "Roll over little guy," the dog rolled over, "Sorry Brian, your dog likes me better."

He pushed me gently on the floor, "Shut up Sam," we laughed and Nick got up off the floor, "Well I got to get going. I have to help my mom clean up for this party she's throwing for some old friends, you two aren't invited." I smiled, "Oh don't worry Nick, Brian and I were going to have our own party tonight up in his bedroom. I'll call you tomorrow afternoon though when I get home," Nick smiled sarcastically, "Okay see ya Brian," he went to kiss me but I pulled away, "Bye Nick."

He shook his head and laughed. After Nick left Brian and I just sat quietly on his floor, "So Brian what do you want to do?" He shrugged, "Movie?"

"Yeah!" Brian smiled "okay I'm going to get my shoes then we can go rent some movies," I nodded, after he went upstairs to gets his shoes and keys, we left for the video store.

"What should we get?" we walked up and down the ailse, Brian rubbed his chin in a moment of deep thought, "hmm..." We strolled down the comedy aisle, when I saw Josh coming our way, "Oh no," I mutter to myself. "What's the matter?" I had to think quick before Josh would see me, and then I'd have to hear the whole lecture about not calling him back blah blah, "Kiss me!"

"What?"

"Just do it." Brian looked at me as if I were crazy, and I probably was but it was the only thing, I grabbed his wrist and pressed my lips to his. I opened one eye a little to see where Josh was, he was looking at the shelf right next to us. I found myself though wrapping my arms around Brian and playing with the curls at the base of his neck. Then Josh had bumped into Brian, "Sorry man," then walked down towards the next aisle. Reluctlenly I pulled away from Brian, I looked at Brian and giggled. I ducked.

Brian sat down next to me, "Who was that guy?"

"Ugh, my friend his name is Josh. He's just annoying and I wasn't ready to hear his shit, sorry if I startled you." I smiled innocently, Brian stood up, "come on," we grabbed a few movies. Brian and I sat in his kitchen waiting for the popcorn to finish, "How you doing, Sam?" Brian's eyes sparkled, I didn't notice it until now that Brian had gorgeous eyes.

"You have nice eyes, Bri," he blushed a little, "thanks," he looked down at his hands. "Oh please Brian. I'm so sure you haven't heard that a million times. Everytime, you meet a fan they probaly tell you that."

"Yeah, those are fans though."

"So, I'm a fan." It was funny, though. Now that I've met them and have been spending time with Nick and Brian, I haven't listened to their albums or watched MTV to see when their new video was coming out. "You're not the every day fan. You don't stalk us and you're not constantly saying every five minutes 'Oh your so hott' your different."

I smiled, "a good diffrent?"

"A very good diffrent," we kissed. Again. I knew we shouldn't and I felt guilty. But why not? Nick and I weren't going out, Nick wasn't my boyfriend, "Sam we don't have to do this, we shouldn't anyways."

"What?"

"You just kind of spaced out on me."

"Sorry, I was thinking, I mean,"

"I know you were thinking about Nick."

"No that's not it, the popcorn's ready." We took it up into Brian's bedroom.

"I'll be right back." He disappeared through the door. I looked around his room. It was like a teenager's room, Brian may be 22, but this defintely proves that he's 12 trapped in a 22 year olds body. Hats all over, a basketball in the corner another next to the bed. A sneaker here, a sneaker there.

"I'm backkkk!" He came back with a bottle of soda and two plastic cups, "Oh, um, I can't drink that."

He frowned, "Want diet?"

"No. I'm fine thanks,"

"Your sure?" I nodded and he started to movie. He laid on his stomach next to me with the bowl of popcorn between us. "Geeze Sam, my bed doesn't bite, you don't have to look so uncomfortable," I laughed and laid down next to him."You know Sam playing footsie can be taken as a sex invite," I kicked his foot lightly.

"Could be? Maybe it was, what are you going to do about?" he laughed, "do I make you horny baby? Do I? Do I make you randy? Yeah!" I laughed, "sometimes I wonder about you." He smiled and placed his hand on my cheek, softly kissing my lips. He pulled away, I slowly opened my eyes, his eyes were big and blue and staring into mine, "I'm really sorry, I know you're Nick's girl, I just couldn't help it," he turned his head to the T.V screen and so did I.

"I'm not HIS girl." the good thing about Brian is he gets over that kind of stuff easy without getting weird. "Do you have a suit with you?"

"Yeah, Nick and I came from his house we were at the beach."

"Wanna go swimming?"

"Isn't going to be cold?" He shook his head, "Nope but we don't have to if you don't feel like it, we could do something else or I could take you home."

"No we can swim sounds like fun, but I need to tell you something. Just because I want to tell you before Nick does, if he does." Brian gave me a concerned look, "It's not a big deal," I told him about my condition and after that we went swimming in his pool out back.

"Brian it's like 12:30." he got out of the pool and looked at his watch that was sitting on the table by our towels, "Nope only twelve."

"OK I'll stay until one."

"Okie Dok."

I laughed. "You dork."
