Chapter Twenty-Nine
RIght before the concert
"Hey Mandy!"
"What is it?"
"Can I talk to you for a sec?"
"What about?"
"Nick."
"What about him?"
"You know, because of you, Nick and Mel are suffering and fighting for their relationship."
"Yeah..and?"
"And? Why did you do something so mean? Nick says he didn't sleep with you and he doesnt remember anything close to it so quit you lying and go tell them BOTH the truth. They've been thru enough."
"I dont have to do anything. Besides if Nick can't remember and things gets messed up because of that then it's not my fault. It's their own for not trusting each other so much."
"Mandy you're on."
"Well I have to go." she said and walked onto the stage.
Mel's room
"Hey Mel."
"Hey Teens. Did you talk to Mandy?"
"Yes."
"And? What did she say?"
"She said that Nick did sleep with her and if Nick cant remember and it's in the way of your relationship then that just proves that you guys don't trust each other enough."
"What's that supposed to me? nick and I trust each other."
"Yeah I know but I can't help but think she has a point. I mean if Nick told you he didn't sleep with her and he doesn't really remember it happening then what's keeping you from believing him?"
"I don't know. I really don't."
"Well don't worry. I say if Nick said it didn't happen then it didn't happen. You know how Mandy is. She's always lying about these things cause Nick dumped her and stuff."
"Yeah you're right. I'm gonna go talk to Nick before the show starts."
"Alright. Good Luck." Tina said hugging her friend.
Walking to Nick's dressing room, I heard Mandy singing "Jokes on You"
*Everytime you told me one of your lies
And everytime you could not look in my eyes

It got me thinking "What if Nick was messing with my head? What if Mandy was telling the truth?" There was only one way to find out for sure.
*Knock Knock*
"Go away. I don't feel like talking."
"Fine then I'll come back later."
"Mel? Wait." Nick said opening the door.
"Whats up?"
"Can we talk?"
"Sure. Come in." He took my hand and pulled me over to the couch.
"What do you want to talk about?"
"About what Mandy said."
"Look, I told you already. I don't remember sleeping with her and if I did I would know better than that."
"Just hear me out ok?"
"Ok.."
"Look, Tina talked to Mandy and she said that you did sleep with her and if you can't remember and that's what's keeping us apart then that just mean one thing."
"And what would that be?"
"We don't trust each other enough."
