How to make a Key

The attached file contains the following files...
hearts.ttf

Download and unzip to your Windows-Fonts folder.

Open PSP, go to FILE-NEW and use these settings...
Width: 300
Height: 200
Transparent background

Select black as your foreground color (top box).

Click the text tool , click anywhere on the pic and select the font hearts, letter c, bold, size 48.

With it still selected go to IMAGE-ROTATE and use these settings...
Direction: Right
Degrees: 90
Like this...

Click the text tool again, click anywhere on the pic and select the font Arial Black, letter E, bold, size 36. With it still selected go to IMAGE-ROTATE and use the same settings as before. Click the shapes tool and set your control palette like this...

Shape: Rectangle
Style: Filled
and draw a rectangle the same height as the E like this...

Now move the heart to the right side of that like this...

Now you have a key. You can stop here or do more.

I'm gonna click the selection tool and draw a rectangle around the key then single click inside the rectangle to select the key and click the flood fill tool and fill it with white. Then I'm going to IMAGE-PLUGIN FILTERS-FLAMING PEAR-BLADE PRO and I'm using the Gold, Basic.

Now I'm going to add a drop shadow by going to IMAGE-EFFECTS-DROP SHADOW and I used these settings...

Color: Black
Opacity: 46
Blur: 11.4
Offsets both at 5

and it looks like this...
