How to make a Chimney for Santa

The attached file contains the following file...
santa.tub

Download and unzip to any file. Open PSP, open the Santa tube now export it as a tube by going to FILE>EXPORT>PICTURE TUBE, when the box comes up click in the box that says Tube Name: and type in a name I named mine Santa.

Go to FILE>NEW and use these settings...
Width: 400
Height: 400
Blue Background

Click Ok. Click the Toggle Layer Palette button , click the Add New Layer button , when the box comes up just click OK, now click the Tube tool , and on the control palette select the Santa, scale: 76% and click in the center of the pic to place the Santa, click the Add New Layer button and when the box comes up just click OK.

Now we want to make a chimney.

Click the Shapes tool and set your control palette like this...

Shape: Rectangle
Style: Filled
Outline width: 10

Make sure antialias is NOT checked and make a rectangle just big enough to cover the Santa. Now click on the foreground color (top box) and where it says HTML Code put in #C00000 and click Ok. Click the Magic Wand and click on your white rectangle. Click the Airbrush tool and set your control palette like this...
Tool Controls...Paper Texture: Medium Bricks Brush Tip...Shape: Square, Size: 200, Opacity: 100, Hardness: 100 and click on your rectangle a few times.

I did mine 3 times and it looks like this...

Click the foreground color box (top box) and select White.

Let's make some snow on the top of the chimney.

I used my airbrush set like this...
Tool Controls...Paper Texture: None
Brush Tip...Shape: Round, Size: 19, Opacity: 100, Hardness: 100
and it looks like this...

I think I want it to look like it has some icicles on it so I'm going to click the Retouch tool and set my control palette like this...

Tool Controls...Retouch Mode: Smudge
Brush Tip...Shape: Round, Size: 7, Opacity: 100, Hardness: 0
and just click on the bottom part of the white and holding down the button drag my mouse downward in a few places and it looks like this...

You can leave your chimney like it is or play with it. You know me I had to play with mine, I went to click on the white and went to IMAGE>PLUGIN FILTERS>FLAMING PEAR>BLADEPRO>sbl-whiteopal, then I click on each red square and went to IMAGE>PLUG-IN FILTERS>ULEAD WEB. PLUGINS>BUTTON DESIGNER any shape and here's what mine looks like...

On your Layer Palette click on the Layer named Background and click the Delete Layer button when the box comes up click Yes. Now click Layer1 which should have your Santa on it and click the Selection tool and draw a rectangle around your Santa and single click inside the rectangle then drag Santa to the top of the chimney.

Now I'm going to add a drop shadow to my Santa and I used these settings...
Color: Black
Opacity: 100
Blur: 7.3
Offsets both at 1

I also did a drop shadow on the chimney using the same settings and added my name and here's how it looks...
